Fire Magic?[edit]
I'm curious. I was doing Vizunah Square on the foreign quarter side, and it was just me (no one in the second local party but the henchmen). When I got down, it looked as though Kai Ying was using Fire Magic instead of his typical Earth Magic. Can anyone else confirm this? Wandering Traveler 05:34, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

- It could be me but since the Henchemen-Update he's not using Fire Magic anymore if you start from the Foreign-Quarter. In fact all of the Factions-Henchmen use their 'new' skillbars since the update during Vizunah Square no matter from which side you start. Lou Wolfskin 00:04, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
Skills[edit]
Why does he only have aura of restoration in Haiju Lagoon? I know he's not a henchman there, but at least give him flare or something instead, he doesn't even have anything to trigger aura of restoration. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Necromas (talk).

- My guess is that aura of rest is the only thing that can be confirmed. He may maintain that enchantment, and simply not use any other skills. However this would also make one expect that earth attunement would also be constantly maintained.--Quiznos 19:02, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
- The To the Rescue quest page says, "Although Professor Gai and Kai Ying will only attack with their staves,…". I think it's been designed to force you to do the actual fighting in this area. --Nonsuch 06:06, 18 April 2011 (UTC)

Kai Ying Inconsistancy[edit]
Kai ying's skills appear to be wrong. On his page his elite skill is always unsteady ground, but on this page his elite for the imperial palace is listed as second wind. Which is correct? My instincts lead me to believe he would use unsteady ground for imperial palace. Currently I have no way of checking this personally.--Quiznos 19:02, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
