Conjure Flame[edit]
Does this skill negate the need for a fiery bow string? Im sure it does but i would just like confirmation --59.100.71.120 11:07, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- For 24 seconds, your arrows deal fire damage and hit for an additional 3...20...24 fire damage. b.r // talk 12:17, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
Well conjure flame says while you WIELDING A FIRE WEAPON!!! so your answer didnt help much --59.100.71.120 14:27, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- It does when I say this skill does negate the need for a fiery bow string b.r // talk 14:34, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- Conjure flame doesn't actually care what weapon mod you have, so long as you are doing fire damage with your base damage (for example, Winter and Conflagration both can also change whether or not conjure flame will work). Necromas 07:34, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
How does this work with my Shocking Bow String (deals lightning damage)? does it deal both types or does one override the other? Kimosabe629 19:49, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- It overrides the bow string so its best to use with vampiric/sundering/zealous--75.94.77.148 19:53, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
This skill does work with Conjure Flame
In conjunction with Heart of Holy Flame or Judge's Insight[edit]
Does anybody know how these skills operate together? I assume it's a matter of the last applied skill, but I haven't tested it out.
Furthermore, will it register Conjure Flame even with Heart of Holy Flame covering it? (I assume it won't, but you never know.)
Also, because the additional damage is fire, would it be possible to cover Kindle Arrows with Heart of Holy Flame, causing two separate packets of damage, one holy and the bonus fire damage?
--Knux 22:16, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- The Kindle damage is in a separate packet, so you should always get both packets regardless of the actual weapon damage type. As far as I know conjure should not and does not affect the bonus packet, but I'm not certain whether preps follow order of application or not. --67.240.88.57 22:28, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- As a second point, your question involves the use of 3 professions, all of which are self-use, so the question is irrelevent. Sonic Sunday 00:52, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
- Actually the question is relevant. While Heart of Holy Flame targets self, Judge's Insight doesn't, so you can have a monk hero cast it on you while you maintain Conjure Flame and Kindle Arrows. --Silver Edge 16:06, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
- Not to mention the use of "or". The last effect used is the one "on top". So if you have an Ebon Bow, then you use Kindle Arrows you're not dealing Fire damage. Then if a monk used Judge's Insight on you - you'd be dealing Holy Damage. 173.64.122.227 13:39, 27 November 2010 (UTC)

Yahnur Market[edit]
This leaves out that you can learn the skill in Yahnur Market in Nightfall instead of just Kodash and Gate of Torment. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 174.117.214.28 (talk).
