Getting there

I walked here from Yohlon Haven through Arkjok Ward and Jahai Bluffs right after completing the Consulate Docks mission, but when I got here, the gate was closed and I couldn't enter (and yes, I tried; the doors were solid). Then I used another account to run me here by going through Arkjok Ward, Jahai Bluffs, and the Floodplain of Mahnkelon, and the gate was open on that side, so I was able to enter. So I don't know if there's some quest that needs to be completed to get through the Jahai Bluffs gate, or if all gates are open if someone in your party has completed enough of the storyline. Either way, it's not quite as simple as "Anyone can walk in through Jahai Bluffs." --RoyHarmon (talk) 16:26, 26 May 2024 (UTC)

I remember that even on noob island, some of the outposts couldn'T be entered until a certain point in the story. I assume that it's similar on the mainland. So if the note is incorrect feel free to remove it. Steve1 (talk) 17:53, 26 May 2024 (UTC)

I wouldn't want to remove it without knowing what to put in its place. I just wanted to document my experience so that someone else can build on it and figure out what the actual entry requirements are. RoyHarmon (talk) 18:42, 26 May 2024 (UTC)

I wish I'd checked this talk section yesterday. I did the same thing you did thinking it would be open because usually other Outposts' articles mention when stuff is initially closed like this. --216.236.193.182 17:05, 11 September 2024 (UTC)

So after completing Consulate Docks and landing in Yohlon Haven, I just went out and started exploring without completing Hunted! or picking up any further quests. In this state of the storyline the entrance from Jahai Bluffs is closed by a gate. The entrances from Floodplain of Mahnkelon and Dejarin Estate are both open. Interestingly, you can leave into Jahai Bluffs and you'll find the gate still shut behind you, forcing you to map travel if you want to get back inside immediately. Will update as I progress the storyline.

After Hunted! is complete the Jahai Bluffs gate opens.
