Movement?

I was just trying to find him today and he was definately going clockwise. I was wondering why I was having such a problem finding them. I don't know if he goes both, but he definately goes clockwise, can anyone confirm he goes counterclockwise or was someone just confused when they wrote this and mixed them up?
