gaad[edit]
one of the more annoying primaries in guild wars (still gets beaten by the sunspear rank ones in Nightfall :P )--Firadesunna 10:02, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- Undercity comprised of me running to a mob and trying to kill at least one foe before party wipe untill the mob was a managable size. The worst are the ones near the final rez shrine of the area (vizunah local), small bridge guarded by two mobs... Justice 03:55, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
Well, that was a pain in the ass! --Gwranting 02:51, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
Bug?[edit]
I was doing this as a foreign char with 3 alliance friends (one was a canthan native) to get local quater access. When he (the guy with the quest) talked to Guardsman Pei, it teleported the entire team except me. If this is an extremely rare bug, I won't report it, but has anyone else had this happen? --Seventh 14:17, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
- Same thing just happened to me. Looks like ANet removed the ability of foreign chars to do Vizunah Local. Great. 69.249.223.63 19:40, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
- About half the team I was with got transported; half not. All of those stuck were Elona-natives, including my toon, who had not completed Factions (but had completed Zen Daijun). However, the current note reads, "Non-Factions characters who complete the quest will gain access to the outpost Vizunah Square (Local Quarter) later in the campaign." It doesn't specify what that means or when. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 19:52, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
- Other info: there's obviously more complicated forces governing this than we have documented. The equivalent discussion at Guild Wiki shows that people have been seeing the same results as above for years.
- Clearly Zen Daijun is required (that's consistent for all ppls: those that have it completed, get across; those not, do not).
- Some members of the party seem not to be transported for other reasons.
- I was thinking it had something to do with some members of our party having started WoC, but (after reading other talk pages), I'm convinced there's either another condition or not everyone will get transported each time. Unfortunately, it's really annoying to test. Some possible scenarios:
- If party is composed of quest holder + faction players + non-factions, only the factions toons come across. or
- If party includes quest holder + tyrian and elonan toons, only one group is transported or
- Only the first non-Canthan is transported.
- (As well as other possibilities.) For good measure, I went back to talk to Pei again... and the gate was still locked and he didn't want to discuss anything. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 20:25, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
- To add to this, I tagged along with somebody who had this quest active to get to the local quarter. My character is Elona born and has finished the Factions missions as well as all of the current Winds of Change quests. We saw some WoC spawns (When Kappa Attack was active too, not sure if that matters or not) but other than that everything went smoothly and we both got into the local quarter without any issues. It was just me, the other guy, and 6 heroes. Pjwned 23:21, 8 August 2011 (UTC)

- Well, it turns out I was mistaken about whether my toon has met the Zen Daijun requirement (had the outpost, but not the mission). I can't speak for the other member of our party that wasn't transported. So... my current uess is that only ZD mission is required and that nearly any other evidence of something else going on is, erm, user error (as it was with me). — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 21:53, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
