I just want to under stand this.. so bare with me.. For the cost of 15 energy and 17% of my max hp I can hit target foe and All foes in the area with 50% slower attacks. and "Shadow of Fear" cost no % of hp and 10 energy with same time and same efect but is target foe and all adjacent foes. Now I know its adjacent foes is from the target you cast on, but is Meekness Area of me or Area of foe. IM just trying to understand why it cost so much if the effect is ruffly the same.

It means foes in the area of target foe. And I'm bearing with you, not baring. Calor - talk 23:50, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
Don't bitch about spelling just because you know he's right. >.> Shadow of Fear > This. RitualDoll 09:15, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
well, "in the area" is twice that big as "adjacent". maybe the cost could be reduced a bit, but you can get more foes with this spell. i think you'll get the complete mob the most times if using this in pve. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 19:58, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
Don't forget that this has a life sacrifice, so skills such as masochism will rovide a benefit or gain a benefit from it. --Carnival King 20:03, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
So it was pre-balanced for skills that didn't exist yet? That doesn't seem very smart... RitualDoll 19:27, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
And Dark Aura.
It is also useful for Feast of Corruption
Lower the cost, lower the cast, or lower the recharge - any one - and it's good. Otherwise, it's so-so. The fact that it affects more foes is partly made up for by the fact that you can't recast it once those foes die for a while, so the extra cost on top of the sac is a little unnecessary. Or vice versa. Then again, necros still have perfectly OP energy management, and longer recharges can sometimes be useful on heroes, so. Eh. I'll stil try this out. --76.166.187.131 21:10, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
