  • Heroes will cast this skill off recharge on any team member with a skill with a health sacrifice cost.
  • They prioritize team members by their number of skills with a health sacrifice.
  • They do not consider Contagion, Masochism, Soul Taker or Verata's Gaze, probably because they don't have a stated health sacrifice.
  • Skills that are manually disabled are still counted.

Notes[edit]

  • You lose more health as Dark Aura deals more damage with each rank in Death Magic.
    • Blood Renewal, Generous Was Tsungrai, and Spirit Light (or a combination thereof), are useful ways of healing to balance out Dark Aura's health loss while still dealing damage through sacrifice. In particular, Spirit Light has the combined advantage of low energy cost, fast recharge time and instant healing, which allows for sustainable healing (and damage) over time.
Anomaly Anomaly.Does not cause charmable animals to turn hostile.
Player builds
  • This skill is frequently used by Saccers to forced-trigger Death Nova.
    • Combine Dark Aura with touch or point-blank skills that require sacrifices such as Signet of Agony and Touch of Agony. Other sacrifice skills, touch skills, or point-blank skills may also work well.
