Never will understand why this skill isn't used more...its pretty much the ulimate survival skill (save a monk) for random pvp like RA and FA..--Ryudo 19:16, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

I've had this discussion with you before. Because damage is good. Lord of all tyria 19:17, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Damage is indeed good. But absorbing damage in FA is even better (when your kurz)--Ryudo 19:18, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Because there are good alternatives (natural healing, shadow refuge, troll unguent, healing signet) which allow you to keep your elite slot. I can't justify spending my elite on a defensive skill when there are powerful offensive skills like moebius strike, dragon slash, avatar of melandru, burning arrow etc. — Skuld 19:21, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Depending on the way you look at it, this will give you more damage. For one, under most circumstances you deal more damage alive than dead, and this can help keep you alive by decreasing the degen from hexes and conditions. Secondly, it gives you energy regen, which you can use to fuel more attacks/spells. It's conditional though, and can be removed by attacks like Wild Blow. - Elder Angelus 20:38, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
It's useless for a monk in PvP because your foes will stop applying conditions and hexes to you. Since you are forced to use Divine Boon to provide sufficient healing output no matter what, you will usually either run out of energy very fast or fail to heal your team (while not maintaining DB). But there is a small renaissance of this skill, I've seen many Assassins and Warriors carry this skill with some success during the last months. --Xer 21:48, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Useless in PvP.... Hold on a minute. What type of PvP? GvG? AB? RA? HA? In AB, people don't pay enough attention. I'll get hexed over and over while I have this skill, and get some lovely conditions, some of which are great with this (disease :D). In RA, they might notice. StatMan 14:33, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

On a side note, doesn't it look like the guy has a huge freaken magnet behind his back? - Byakko User Page 01:56, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Yea, it does...╙─User Dogzrdogz Sig.jpgDogzrdogztalk

Love this skill.[edit]

I run a R/A in the RA that uses Pioson bleeding, sprints and daggers for degen and bursts of damage. I remember bringing along this skill eacuse at the time I didn't have any other elites worth bringing along. Well I'm gald I did because now I bring it all the time. I previously found myself jumping in and out of combat to let my energy regenerate or to use troll unguent to heal. It's a rare fight in RA I don't find myself targeted by either a hex or a condition, and with this up they can generaly be more of a help then a hinderance. Against condition, hexing builds I have limitless energy and thanks to the small recharges on my dagger skills can pour out that energy into masses of spike damage.

Wild Strike makes this difficult in AB for me. Why does everyone use that as an offhand D: -- euphoracle | talk 23:08, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
Because it is a fast recharging offhand attack. They really need to nerf it a bit, unless assassins are supposed to be able to remove stances very easily. StatMan 19:26, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

i would say combine with foul feast but necros already have good energy management. Draw conditions comes to mind but foul feast makes that look silly.--Justice 18:33, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

stance[edit]

i would use it alot more if it wasnt a stance i would like it to be a skill makes more sense to me

Then it would be combined with Natural Stride for godmode. No thanks. Vili User talk:Vili 12:23, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
Natural stride already is godmode. Thank the lord MR isn't a skill. -Auron 12:26, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
Oh, don't jinx it or anything b.r // talk 12:30, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
Nearly all physical damage classes would swap to this if it became a skill (probably alot of casters too) the effect is just too powerful to not have some sort of draw back. Still, it would be funny to see it as a skill for a few weeks maybe, just to see what happened to the current hex heavy meta.--96.225.153.202 16:28, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
Why restrict yourself to physical damage classes? I've seen Monks with this. :\ Vili User talk:Vili 16:39, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
As have I hence the part that says (probably alot of casters too)--96.225.153.202 16:42, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
