Does Mend Condition remove Cracked Armor or only those specified in the list ? Adeira Tasharo 04:25, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

It removes all conditions. They just haven't updated (or simply removed) the list of initial conditions from launch. --Mystisteel 04:27, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Urk! I feel silly for not having completed a thought. Mend Ailment is the other skill I was wondering about and it does include Cracked Armor. Now that I go and search out Condition removal, another that does list, but does not include Cracked Armor is Purge Conditions. Has anyone tested to be sure that these do remove Cracked Armor? Or to confirm that the list is correct and that they do not? Adeira Tasharo 04:51, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
They do, we've checked. Prophecies and core condition removal skills list all the initial conditions, but just haven't been updated. The fact that they even list the specific conditions is considered redundant and an anomoly now. Those skills will remove cracked armor. It's easy to test for yourself on the Isle of the Nameless. --Mystisteel 06:05, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

Mend Condition VS. Dismiss Condition[edit]

Which 1 is better for most cases? Mend can't traget yourself, but it has healing. Dismiss can target yourself, but heals if you are under effect of an Enchantment. In the great "condition removel" brawling fight (I put 50$ on___), who shall win? ;) 89.139.235.214 12:53, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

In a pure prot buid I would definitely say dismiss simply because the condition is easy to meet and you can target yourself. However, if you bring say mending touch for yourself bringing mend condition for general party condition removal is probably better because of the reliable condition ( pun intended). Mend Condition wins hands down on heroes since they use dismiss condition poorly.

Builds[edit]

It should be noted that this is one of the most important skills in the following build; "Poke the Baby."

CRACKED ARMOUR[edit]

Going from the description, it says removes one condition but doesn't mention cracked armour. Update needed i think. 90.216.21.161 15:02, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

Safe to say anyone using this knows/assumes it will remove cracked armor. ~ WELL HELLO Chao 14:43, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
Cracked Armor is a condition that was introduced with GW:EN. Mend Condition is from Prophecies. The text was simply never updated, ...other similar skills simply state "condition". That said, this so-called "anomally" could be more accurately described as "this skill names conditions" (as they were at the indroduction of the game). Gwynna Vive 21:35, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
