Pirates in Guild Wars[edit]
This armor looks sooo much like a pirate, I love it! I think i'll give my mesmer a set. DBZVelena | (Talk page) 13:57, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
I made a Mesmer, and am also in the mode of maining a PvE Mesmer because of this badass Pirate Steampunk w/e PIRATE STEAM WARLOCK DOOM ROBOT armor. Nikdanbro 10:51, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Steampunk[edit]
This looks totally steampunk to me.. Strange conclusion, I know. Anyone else think so?
- Whoah steampunk is cool..now that i know what it is, yes, i agree :P |NalanaDarkling| 01:52, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
- I hope they'll add a steampunk element in GW2. It'd make sense too, seing how they could already have steam technology and widespread use of gunpowder in a setting 250 years after a medieval one.
- In fact, it would be pretty darn strange for all technology to remain in stasis for 250 years. I'm sure the Asura aren't going to stop inventing or anything. Hmmm, a non-medieval Guild Wars. That would be pretty awesome, akshully. Green Arrow 16:04, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

- Sounds like a good idea for a mod for Oblivion... Anyway, in our timeline, we actually were in a technological stasis in the middle ages because of the church's ban on new theories. The rush after that came because all the teachings of the greeks were known and remembered in the Middle East where the crusades went. Also: Asura Steampunk profession! xD Paddymew 18:02, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Male[edit]
This male's armor is atrocious!... ANet should start using Brain Cells when making a Mesmer Armor, especialy males :O That crappy pirate-copy headgear is hoooorible, and the chest-piece...*vomits*
Male Reskin?[edit]
It could be me but, since most of the EotN-armors seem to be reskins, is it possible this one is a reskin of, or at least orientated at the Elite Noble armor? Lou Wolfskin 09:57, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
- its close, but they are not reskins.--Neil2250 , Portal Jumper 10:36, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
This is such a great armour set[edit]
But at least for males, it's unaffected by outside lighting, it makes me look like Jora! My head is in shadow but my chest is glowing. Maskeus 13:31, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
Headgear[edit]
Apart from the eye patch, what head gear would look good with this armor set? Slim Spectacles? --77.160.189.74 08:02, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
Female reskin[edit]
From what I've found:
- Head: Mesmer Costume mask
- Top: Mesmer (Elite) Rogue armor
- Hands: generic Mesmer gloves
- Bottom: Mesmer Obsidian armor
- Feet: this may not be a reskin, the feet look most like the ones of Primeval armor, but they aren't the same

- The hands/gloves look like alot of different mesmer gloves, and they al look alike anyway ^^ 94.3.83.193
Clipping Issue on Females[edit]
The page says that there's a clipping issue with the back of the skirt during the walking animation and while in the standing position. I have this armor on my female mesmer, and I haven't noticed any problems with it at all. Has this bug been fixed? Thanks in advance. Oh, also, I have noticed a small clipping issue at the waist of the blouse where it becomes very pixelated (this is present when running, standing, and in most animations). Has anyone else seen this bug? --Michael 02:19, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
Glow bug?[edit]
I've never seen a "glow" bug on my Female set of this before, and even just went zoning around between light and dark places. The armor was barely less reactive to ambient lighting then my Norn or Elite Kurzick. Now, my mesmer's skin is fair, so it lights up in pretty well any directional lighting, but that has nothing to do with the armor itself. So what I'm saying is, please post a screenshot of said "bug" to justify it. Or list that its just for the male version, or whatever. Lillium 04:27, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
- It's called full bright. The model was not compiled properly and acts inappropriately in lighting settings. Pretty negligent dev team. 96.233.188.168 15:03, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
