How about building an index for Hero Armor Upgrades? - Ken 09:34, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Aquisition[edit]

Does anyone have any idea of the drop rate for these, since I've played the mission (and done farily OK) a few times and never got one (though I've got loads from the Wurm and Corsair missions). 81.109.179.84 13:37, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

i have no idea but i did 10 100+ point runs and i only got one drop. in hm :/ so i dont know but i got 1 in 100 i'd say --204.186.70.161 02:12, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
After four hours and a few dozen attempts at attaining this, I feel the need to ask if we can petition the development team to reprogram drop rates on important items such as this so that it's an event-based rather than random drop? Or are we supposed to spend weeks farming a few specific items? Seryu 00:17, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
Gee, it's too bad there isn't a place for suggestions or feedback on this wiki... -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 00:50, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
Yay, sarcasm. Heaven forbid someone be helpful with directions since not everyone will know the entire layout of a website by heart just by visiting it. But then again condemnation from elitists is par for the course with games, helpfulness is not. Seryu 18:07, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
I obtained 6 of them in one run.... I was however reasonably high on the daily ranking for the shadow nexus MrPaladin talk 18:12, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
That presents an interesting scenario where it could be partially event-based already through raising the drop rate according to a ratio multiplier of the daily/monthly/seasonally records, but that's incredibly harsh seeing as how many of these records are beyond unattainable for most players. I know this for a fact seeing as how any time I've attained such records it's through questionable "invincible" builds entrapping opposition instead of regular hard work. There's link on the left-hand navigation pane titled "Feedback portal" and there's a site notice at the top of every page (unless you dismissed it), it's not really hard to find a link, and you certainly don't need to know the entire layout of the site by heart. -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 18:30, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
It honestly seemed like something specific to just Guild Wars Wiki feedback rather than including game feedback also, certainly my mistake by thinking it was self-contained only seeing as how the site introduces itself as just a reference site. As for the site notices on pages, I've rarely ever seen it at all, much less being able to even track it down now that someone's tried to point it out. Guess it's just as hard to find one's way around the site without a long learning curve as it is to collect the item in question leading to feeling the need to offer feedback in the first place. Is there maybe a daily cap? I did three runs:

  1. 274 score -> 4 armour pieces
  2. 209 score -> 0 armour pieces
  3. 185 score -> 0 armour pieces

I guess I will try another day for that last piece... -- kazerniel (talk | contribs) 19:23, 27 February 2021 (UTC)

  1. 211 score -> 0 armour pieces

problem[edit]

I killed over 50 of the mages, and no armour pieces whatsoever, although i got 21st/50th on the daily leaderboard User Kuulpb Sig Icon1.pngKuulpb/talk 01:01, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

Well, three hours, killed a lot of mages, not even one drop.
Same here. 3+hours not a one. Gave up. 16:36, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

Got 2 my first time in challenge round, like primeval better.
