Phrase wording

"It is not most often given to those who claim expert knowledge, or ability in the game but have proven to those observing that the exact opposite is true". Ok, right now, having the "not" in there doesn't make sense. But, apparently the phrase is also wrong without it. Until someone generates statistics, it's going to have to be "frequently". I mean, if we want to go off of what we individually see the term used for, I'd be perfectly justified in saying that "The term is almost exclusively used as a jest between familiar players; its use as a serious insult has been antiquated," which may or may not (I'd assume that it isn't true for the majority of players, actually, but that's just an assumption) be true. The point is, until I can show evidence that that is, in fact, the case, then I can't just claim that it is on a mainspace article. Any objections to frequently? Modified to express more correct usage based on what over 95% of people consider it to be. Most consider 'noob' and 'newb' to be two different terms- newb for newbie, inexperienced players, and noobs for stupid arrogant trash that suck at gws.
