The best quick utility dervish heal spam in the game.--Wealedout 00:10, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

I want this to sacrifice an enchantment but remove hexes from and heal from target ally for my sabway--Hubbard User Hubbard sig icon.png The Dervish 13:42, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Oh Em Gee[edit]

i literally cannot express my hate for this spell. soul barbs is by far the best weapon against a derv. pop it on and cover, then just strip his enchants and let him re-apply before you strip again. he just enchants himself to death.

that is ofcourse unless he has 5 energy spare. then he can just heal for 100+ and remove both hexs before you can even recharge to rehex.

i don't mind that 100+ heal is 5 energy. i don't even mind that its a 1second spell. my problem is that it recharges so fast, you cant possibly rehex. 8 seconds. every 9 seconds (+1 for an echant) 2 hex's can be removed. you don't even need high attrib for it!

for the love of god. make it 20 seconds or raise the 2 hex remove to 12 points. JunoNH 08:06, 19 February 2011 (UTC)

"Baaaaaw I can't solo people with hexes!"
Wah! — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 16:46, 19 Feb 2011 (UTC)
an enlightened response. even dervs think its imba -.- JunoNH 19:44, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
It's strong, but only because dervs are especially weak to hexes. Cirian 10:19, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
It's imbalanced against other hex removals, sure, but it's perfectly balanced against necro hexes, which are ridiculous. Parasitic bond and defile defenses have been problematic since forever (faint that never comes off?), and the fact that dervs are even running a hex removal says a lot about the state of hexes in the game.
tl;dr: hexes are retarded, deal with retarded hex removal. — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 14:44, 23 Feb 2011 (UTC)
Except that buffing counters is a terrible way to reduce the effectiveness of overpowered skills. It just limits players' options. Koda User Koda Kumi Horns1.GIF 16:10, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
Indeed. — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 17:12, 23 Feb 2011 (UTC)
Sure Juno, because necromancers should be able to kill a dervish using two spells and zero skill. It isn't imbalanced just because you can't find 2 cover hexes. The only real problem is that warriors and assassins don't have something this good to counter the rampant necros and mesmers in PVP.--108.23.64.23 01:06, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

"Synergy with Conviction"[edit]

Is there any reason for this note? I don't see any synergy beyond that between any enchantment with an effect on end and any skill with a bonus for removing an enchantment (such as Aura of Thorns + Twin Moon Sweep). Both happen to provide healing, and one removes hexes while the other removes conditions, but that doesn't make them any more synergistic. 96.33.173.168 03:02, 11 March 2011 (UTC)

I agree. Pious Restoration does not especially benefit in any way from using Conviction as a feeder enchantment. There are enchantments with far better recharge/feeder utility. -- Oiseau | User Oiseau Melandru.jpg 03:34, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
