better map[edit]

Is a better map available? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:JokerES (talk).

Only this one Feel free to upload one. --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 12:13, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
You could also travel south from Rata Sum through Magus Stones to the Alcazia Tangle zone portal, and just go back and forth from the portal to him. The route in Magus Stones is exclusively spiders, so its really a choice between what type of monsters you want to fight to get to your target. -Guildwarsrunner
I think the spider route is the easier of the two, with fewer monsters. 145.94.74.23 16:56, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

map + render[edit]

this needs an update.. --User Karasu sig.png Karasu (talk) 17:12, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Easiest Access is from Rata Sum (via Magus Stones)[edit]

I tried getting to him from both Rata Sum and Tarnished Haven. From the map alone it would seem Tarnished Haven would be the easiest way since it is all on one zone, but the number and difficulty of the mobs coming from Tarnished Haven is greater. You also pass through several boss mobs starting from Tarnished Haven and end up attacking Pywatt from low ground. However, the route from Rata Sum not only has fewer foes, but they are of lower level, low (if frequent) damage, the route is much easier to path find, plus you arrive at the spot on high ground, above Pywatt, making the fight much easier. There is even a stack of posts in the ground at the top of the hill making a convenient block to Pywatts mob if you position your group just behind it. --Rpger 01:02, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

Tip[edit]

If you obtain but don't turn in the quest "Turning the Page" from Justiclar Naveed outside Tarnished Haven, upon entering the zone from Magus Stones there will always be a handy little group of relatively squishy White Mantle for you to make minions out of, just prior to engaging Pywatt's mob.
