This staff is great for nukeing, to bad it is so hard to get —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.45.162.109 (talk • contribs) at 22:03, 30 May 2008 (UTC).
- What are you talking about? I have two. :P Also, GWW:SIGN. -- Vorith (talk•contribs) 03:00, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
- Isn't a 40/40 fire set better for nuking than this staff? I'd rather Hajkor's Flame and a 20/20 fire focus. Dante Broekhart 07:48, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- My opinion is if you aren't using spells from other elements, and if you don't want a staff specific enhancement (20% enchantments), then do a wand + focus. However, I use a insightful ether staff of enchanting for my ele, so that I can go from nuke to PvP without a new staff. Technically, it isn't 40/40. You have a 4% chance of both triggering, which reduces the the recharge by 1/4, and a 32% chance of half, so a grand total of 36% of reduced recharge. At least it was that way when I tested it a few years back. StatMan 06:05, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Worthwhile note?[edit]
Do you think it would be worth noting The Thundermaw and Galigord's Stone Staff on this page as the Air and Earth equivalents of this staff? It wouldn't be terribly difficult for someone to look it up if they wanted to know, but I think the fact that these other staves are so similar is significant enough for the notes section. If nobody objects I'll go ahead and add it, because it's the kind of thing I'd like too see an a page like this. -- Vorith (talk•contribs) 03:00, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
