Vanquishing[edit]
I think it would be worthwhile noting on the main page, when you want to vanquish this area, you must enter via the Imperial Sanctum outpost.
- Good thinking, i actualy didnt know that until i just read this so thanks. "EDIT" Signed" T1Cybernetic 21:39, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- On the topic of vanquishing, I'd like to add that there are a few things to keep in mind to make this large area a little easier. There are lots of walls, use these vs the large groups of rangers dotted about, also, use walls to get the assassins and warriors to bodyblock on the tank, and keep them in AoE. I used RoJ though any will do. All bosses can be pulled and killed separately except for maybe the elementalist, I couldnt pull him, but his spawns seemed to not aggro properly either, so i just kept sending my nukers in and out, in and out, until i killed them all, including the boss. Try not to stand in the necromancers wells of weariness, it'll cause energy problems if the battle drags out. Bringing skills like Pain Inverter is usefull for taking out the elementalists. Both the spirit and interrupt henchman are very useful against these if you're doing it solo. Daemon cant interrupt very effectively, and failing that Shelter stops loads of damage from getting through. Try to smash the eles first, as the monks dont have very good healing skills to keep them up. Puk 07:24, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- The kill counter when you try to vanguish it don't really reflect the reality. When I had about 35 monsters killed it was showing me 75% done, and had stayed at 70-80% for a long time (i had to kill around 250 monsters...) Thedukesd 03:12, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
- 259 foes, 1hr 9min, vanq/maping. Kill counter does indeed suck here. Loads of physicals here. Sadly though the casters are much more annoying. Diversion + Ether Feast spamming mesmers, Double Spell Protection monks that can spam shield guardian all day and party wide self rezing rits. Non spell interupts or a daze (i was having troubles even getting technobable on a monk before they went SB) may prove much more useful. Still, the most numerous foes here are physical and my wandering eye + ineptitude destroyed them like it was they who were in HardMode. Justice 00:51, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
How Idiotic[edit]
"Vanquisher runs of this area without active quests requires defeating around 255 foes. Including quest influences, it has been reported to range from 244 to 263." Hmmm, might I add that there aren't any quests in this area? The Savior 22:45, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

Imperial Sanctum portal ?[edit]
There is a "Imperial Sanctum" mark on the top of a high hill near the monk boss. No way I can reach it, it's getting me mad to think there could be sth hidden here ^^ Duncan Idaho 23:54, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
Is it worth noting...[edit]
Chests in this area do not drop armor just weapons/shields/foci and tomes. 71.181.68.186 (talk) 16:58, 26 February 2015 (UTC)
- Now that you mention it, I didn't know that Shiro'ken don't have a salvageable armor drop... which is of course why you won't ever get armor from chests in this zone. Possibly worth a trivia mention. -Chieftain Alex 00:29, 28 February 2015 (UTC)
