Can someone confirm the note, otherwisesince if it is correct, this skill should be listed here: List of skill anomalies. -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 07:02, 9 May 2007 (EDT)

possibly a bug?[edit]

i don't think that this is a annomality, it would simply say "all enchantments" instead of "1 enchantment". —ZerphatalkThe Improver 21:41, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

thats why its an anomaly, it functions differently than the description.--Coloneh 17:20, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
I hit a Stone Summit Zealot in Slaver's with my staff and my shadowform got stripped - and there were no Blasphemers to cast well of the profane. Bug maybe? 15:47, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
Not a bug. Spells CAN affect you, they just can't be directly cast at you. That's why signets, non-spell skills, and untargeted damage (eg Inferno) can still get you. ~ 21:56, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
I think he was talking about the staff attack NOT being a "melee attack" as per the skill description... 11:43, 29 May 2009 (UTC)Aliabastre
Maybe it only functions when attacked at melee range then? If he was being attacked by said Zealot, then it would class as melee range, if not a melee weapon... 20:28, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

Illusionary Wep[edit]

Does anybody know why this skill does not strip Illusionary Weaponry? Merri Weathers 00:30, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

You must be hit for your attacker to lose enchantments. While enchanted with Illusionary Weaponry, your attacks are not considered to hit, miss, or be blocked. <>Sparky, the Tainted 01:02, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

does this activate before or after they hit? for example, would Intimidating Aura be removed before it activates? 15:09, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Also wondering about this and its conjunction with enemies using Dark Apostasy 18:35, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
Dark Apostasy's effect occurs before their attack, so I'd assume that it would negate this Enchantment, removing it before the attack itself hit. Sec Qr Euin 16:22, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
On Dark Apostasy's page, it's stated that Rending Aura is a good counter to it, especially against Outcast Assassins. — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 3:40, 20 Nov 2010 (UTC)

Please Fix This Bug[edit]

This goes for all bugs but this one in particular. Facing a bonded Critical Defenses assassin is just the most piss-a$$ed, fkn annoying sht in the world. If you can't figure out why, its the constant damage reduction and constant blocking with no downtime for me to do anything. It's why anet adjusted Distortion due to the constant blocking with no downtime. Shouldn't need a reason for anet to fix something that is broken. No need to tell you how aggravating it is to tell anet it is bugged but to see this skill still messed up after all this time. 13:55, 8 May 2010 (UTC)

Kite. Though, this bug does need to be fixed, like all of them do. -~=Ϛρѧякγ User Sparky, the Tainted charr sig.PNG (τѧιк) 14:38, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
Are you sure it's a bug and not just...i don't know, bad wording? Lou Wolfskin 12:15, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
Bad wording? No. Could you see any situation where 'all enchantments' would mean 'one enchantment'? Though I would see why Anet would choose not to fix this bug as it would make the skill very overpowered in PvE farming indeed. 19:07, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

does this skill reflect the update? --Readem 22:55, 18 February 2011 (UTC)

No. — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 22:57, 18 Feb 2011 (UTC)

Heroes think this is AIDS[edit]

They don't use it. 17:47, 20 February 2011 (UTC)

Well, no wonder they don't use it. I'm not even sure how someone could use a quality. –~=Ϛρѧякγ AHHH! (τѧιк) ←♥– 18:37, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
Wait what. 22:50, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
you can't 'avoid' aids, it's just the name for the general condition, which can be caused by many things. HIV is the major aids-causing thing to look out for. 19:12, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
