For that matter..you should remove the Screenshot, Silent Surf and Summoning Stone links too.

I've called Screenshots 'ss' for over 6 years now in every game I've ever played, including this one... infact, I almost said 'I call ss ss' because I'm so used to associating that abbreviation to that word... imo, a disambig page should show ALL possible interpretations: common or not. Redundant abbreviations

I agree, it's really just Spiteful Spirit, but Sandstorm i guess is ok. I've never in my life heard Savage Slash/Shot and pretty much the rest of the "SS" skills there abbreviated to SS. And i've been playing for 4 years...--Wingsy 11:19, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

It's the same with most pages, for instances LA has Lava Arrows, PS has Practiced Stance, etc. I think people just added every skill that could be abbreviated that way. The main concern with this is when a new player comes along and types "SS", they come up with a disambig page with dozens of options, which doesn't help them at all. I say keep the "dominant" abbreviations, and discard the not so common ones. For SS, all I ever heard is Spiteful Spirit, Sunspear, Sunspear Sanctuary, Screenshot and Sandstorm. ~Celestia 12:02, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

(Reset indent) I think it's pointless to put something that is never used, something like spirit shackles isn't abbreviated to SS whenever people talk about it they say spirit shackles. The disambig page is here so that people can find out what SS means, not what spirit shackles means, somebody who's new to guild wars, and hears somebody talk about spirit shackles ingame, will not search for SS but for spirit shackles. But when that person does hear somebody abbreviate something to ss, that person will search for SS--but just end up in a page filled with a lot of abbreviations never used, thereby not being able to find what (s)he was looking for C4K3 Talk 17:11, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

Can you know for certain that the place they did hear SS used was not one of the other meanings? I know its most common meaning is Spiteful spirit... but any one of these could have been in conversation given the correct context... either you have to include all possibles or you have to have an overruling group who just "knows what SS means and thats the way it is" 65.6.156.101 18:10, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

Maybe if we went a step further and said >SS most likely refers to: <list the most likely suggestions?>, although it may also refer to <list the rest of references. The only problem with this is that we all have to decide which of the abbreviations is most commonly used. Then new players can be (because most players who have been around should probably know which skill, given the context of their discussion) "oh look, SS is most likely Spiteful Spirit or Sunspear Sanctuary" instead of "oh, SS could be anyone of these gajillion possibilities" ~Celestia 23:57, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

Perhaps we could suggest that users declare an abbreviation the first time they use it in a paragraph to clear up the confusion: Spiteful Spirit (SS). I can understand using a sort of shorthand in the middle of combat in a game, but everywhere else, it's just nonsense that causes problems like rampant miscommunication.
