Just doing Winds of Change, but the description for the quest "Free Birds" says meet Soar Honorclaw and his forces in Xaquang Skyway. Is this a fail or am I missing something? Simooshy 00:43, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

We call these things "Anet". Bramblefeet 18:28, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

Other clue she's female[edit]

In the quest Cleansing the Steel, the initial dialogue mentions "Soar Honorclaw, your victim's daughter."--140.77.240.101 10:17, 26 June 2012 (UTC)

ANet and gender identity[edit]

I've removed the note about how we determined that Soar is female; it's irrelevant to the article.

The problem is that ANet doesn't spend quite enough time copyediting matters of lore (especially since the Live team doesn't have the resources, having dropped to a skeleton crew of less than five). The game includes other examples of NPCs with inconsistent canon on their gender.

However, we don't spend mainspace real estate documenting how we determine facts; that's what talk pages are for. In particular, we don't have a note explaining how we determined that Talon Silverwing is male or any mention of Melk Brightfeather's gender. Similarly, we use the talk page to discuss whether skill X is related to Y, how we determined that standing on the corner during Nine Rings is optimal, and whether something is a bug or not; what appears on the primary articles are the results of those conversations, not the discussions themselves. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 17:02, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
