The person who created this article clearly has this confused with a Flame Geyser. Splinter Mines are in Elona Reach and inflict bleeding/crippling. --Valshia 19:48, 13 May 2007 (EDT)

Odd, the in-game object is called a Flame Geyser, but the effect is called Splinter Mine. Never noticed that before. But still, there are objects called Splinter Mines in-game, and the article should refer to those. --Valshia 20:37, 13 May 2007 (EDT)
