Talk:Sulfurous Haze
Because you don't receive DP from deaths in the haze, it provides a great way for a necro hero to summon a minion army very rapidly from your corpse. Just stand on the edge of the haze within casting distance of both the necro and a hero with some kind of rez (but not Rebirth nor a touch rez, obviously), and you won't have long to wait before the army is ready. And of course it's kind of funny too, if you're easily amused. :P Morgaine 08:38, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
- That would be a good note, except that while you're in a junundu you can't maintain your minion army, so they die off at the first group. Making it a waste of time.--BriarThe Spider 08:41, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
- or u can not use junundu in the first place and travel by foot :) Demonic Sin Ex 01:20, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure that almost anywhere a junundu is available, its required. --BriarThe Spider 06:52, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
- you thought wrong then lol. Demonic Sin Ex 18:26, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
- There are locations in the Desolation that require you run around on foot, but are also nearby the haze. So the strategy isn't totally invalid, it's just a rather specialized plan. 128.113.201.222 15:49, 8 May 2011 (UTC)

Two or three seconds[edit]
Assuming good faith, I took the only person who's claimed to test the duration's word that you have two seconds after seeing the effect activate until you die (rather than three as originally stated). See: the edit summary of this edit. This should be easy to test without (step on sulfur, wait for haze to show up, time it) or with the glitch (step on sulfur, wait for haze, step off, step back on, time it). If correct, the first example should take two seconds and the second would take four. (Otherwise, we should see three and five seconds respectively.) — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 01:32, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
- I tested it thoroughly in Sony Vegas. I did about 120 separate runs in the past two days which is how it finally dawned on me. Under close observation in Sony Vegas, I found it was two, not three. I can provide further proof if need be...but as many will agree, I am a good source. God Of Fissures
