How to do quest again for Hero's Handbook[edit]
I was wondering how you do this quest again for hero's handbook so I can complete it again to get rep. Please reply!!!
- Go through the fissure/crack/hole/whatever again.
Charge! Or the lack of it[edit]
When did the dwarves stop using charge to get to the end of the run? Was this one of those hidden updates? I noticed this today, the last time I did it they used Charge! during the run.KJZ 05:48, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
Was this the most fun quest EVER made in Guild Wars or what? I was laughing so hard through the whole thing. It was epic, I must say that it was the perfect quest. --- Raptors
- well, one of the most easiest ones, i think^^ just run away from the destroyer group, Vekk and Odgen dyed and were resurrected again and again 0ô...you actually needn't to do anything but running. well, that's what you can read in the walk through^^ Zerpha The Improver 15:04, 3 September 2007 (UTC
- There are alot of side hallways here, has anyone explored them? There could be a lot of lore or something hidden--Amantis 00:51, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, I had a look once. There are some more nice murals on the walls and one or two statues. The whole area seems to contain little easter eggs, such as the green gem.84.92.169.252 20:53, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
- Just had a look myself. Very cool. If you wander around after killing the corsairs or whatever, but before watching the cinematic, you can see murals of various things, including ((SPOILER)) the Kurzick concept art. There is also a huge spider web, of the 20-30 feet across kind of huge. Very pretty, but I don't want to meet the spider that made it. I like the green gem, although having been through "for real" several times, I had never noticed it. Ah, well. Cynique 20:21, 25 December 2010 (UTC)

EotN mastery Points[edit]
I was wondering if exploring this area also added EotN mastery points? 86.80.183.215 16:45, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
Inspiration for the Name?[edit]
Is it possible there's a connection between the name of this quest and the Nine Inch Nails song of the same name, given that both Eotn and the song (and album) are about fighting something called The Great Destroyer? 86.162.243.133 17:00, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
Quicker way[edit]
Added/changed the walkthrough to a way that, to me, is easier and definitely quicker, as you end up with about a minute time left on reaching the portal. I have done this on multiple characters, and every time I used the method, the end time was the same minute or so left. 69.182.192.223 23:37, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
Repeatable[edit]
Decided to wander into the Chasm in Bukdek Byway after completing today's Zvanquish. When I got to Burol Ironfist and Kodan, the cutscene kicked in and this quest got added to my log despite my having done EotN ages back. With 7 heroes you can actually kill all the destroyers now, even in hard mode. Of course, it doesn't help you because the timer runs out, but it was fun anyway. -- Hong 09:59, 25 June 2011 (UTC)
Never done it, but...[edit]
What happens if the time runs out? Does it delete your character and eat your soul?
The music doesn't fit well here.[edit]
It sounds very upbeat and heroic, like something you'd hear when you're winning, not when you're trying to escape. That being said, I think it would be interesting to hear music like this when you're on the offensive. Kevin32 (talk) 03:03, 12 June 2016 (UTC)
