Not dye-able[edit]

Big shame, I can't have my rose tinted glasses on the paragon, and my war can't go for full on The Matrix black. Sadie2k 19:26, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Yes, this is a missed opportunity if you ask me! I'd love to pick what colour the tint is in. --82.109.198.11 13:23, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Isn't there a mod that changes their colors? I recall seeing a few on guru...24.0.66.172 04:07, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Crafting.[edit]

These are _tinted_ spectacles, but you don't need Vial of Ink. Strange... Zerpha The Improver 14:02, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

The tint can be achieved by effectively 'burning' or 'smoking' the glass as the lenses are made; therefore no ink is needed.--Grenth 23:44, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
ok, didn't know that. then the crafting costs arent as weird as i thought :P Zerpha The Improver 18:55, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Modernization Ahoy[edit]

Hooray GW! Entering the future ams we now! File:Esig2.jpg Eldin 02:24, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

These look quite cool! Can't wait to get one oh these! (Jope12 21:34, 15 September 2007 (UTC))

Amazing how these spectacles can stand up to almost anything....70 armor? you'd think they'd break...ah well, who cares? THEY'RE AWESOME!!

  • They're made by the Asura. Obviously, they project a very small 70-armor field around your head. Florian 23:19, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
In this case, the goggles actually do -something-. :P 193.215.199.34 13:36, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

Combine the three spectacles articles[edit]

I think we should combine all three articles into one, as only the artwork differs, and it's nice to be able to compare the styles side-by-side. That would also mean that the other two page would redirect to the common page. Votes? Alaris 15:21, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

Might be an idea, the information is quite redundant at the moment. Although I like to have an article about each item in game also.. Let's just say I'm not opposed to either way :P - anja talk 15:25, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
Honestly, im up for combining them. I think that like Alaris said, it could give better side-by-side comparisons. Plus the materials needed and cost are the same (i believe). So overall, i agree with Alaris--Raph User Raph Sig.png 01:37, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Or we could make an article that links to all of them, and also has pics of all types. Spectacles anyone? Paddymew 07:51, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Bug?[edit]

Is it just me, or do spectacles run really, really low on Male Rangers' Faces? I've seen otherse right up to the eyes, but my ranger has his right down to his nose. anyone else see this? User-Wandering Traveler Sig.png Wandering Traveler 23:58, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Same on Female Ranger. Kinda like it though. --Arduinna talk 19:53, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Item's Attribute +1[edit]

What does //Item's Attribute +1// mean? --Czar 02:09, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Oh I get it, when I put a rune in the spectacles, the //+1// changes to that of the rune. --Czar 02:10, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
Correct. This applies to almost every headgear. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 02:12, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Z-fighting bug[edit]

Just a note, these have *terrible* alpha-fighting issues with devona-style hair on female warriors. I'm not sure if the other types do it as well, but I know for sure it does it with these. Here is an example pic that can be used in the article, I give full permission to use it/chop it as you please should you choose. -Ingwayelsteen 20:33, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

John Lennon![edit]

First thing I thought when seeing these, ayone else agree? And directed at the questions above, it wouldnt be hard to use Textmod to tint your spec's. Stroggs 21:33, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

Ozzy also--88.14.153.202 19:51, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

Bug[edit]

As my male monk when I zoom out far enough with these on part of my hair goes missing. - Giant Nuker 23:10, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
