Couldn't the name mean healthy blush? Like rosy cheeks. - Bex 12:17, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
yes, quite often a blush is considered a sign of good health.
- That might have been what they were going for, but because Latin uses case to identify relationships between words, that's not how it translates. Could be that someone just looked up words in a Latin-English dictionary and was either ignorant or didn't care about using the proper case markers. Kokuou 12:55, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Well if you think of it this way it doesn't sound very destructive like most titan name translations. Laserblasto! 06:20, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
- At a titan party: "Hi, my name is Burning Blast, I burn stuff, what's yours?" "Oh, I'm Rosy Cheeks, nice to meet you." Paddymew 22:01, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
- Considering Valetudo is a style of combat sparring, it could mean something like "Healthy Violence". Latin is hard y'all, fer rill. FleshAndFaith 18:14, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
- lol? Vale Tudo is the martial art you're describing, the name is based on the latin word Valetudo, which means health, Rubor means blush, disgrace, shame, and more, google it and you'll see, so (freely translated, there is no use for grammar because both words are in the Nominative case) it would translate to either Healthy Blush, Healthy Disgrace, Healthy Shame, or turned around (e.g. Shameful Health, Disgraceful Health, use your imagination, latin isnt needed here), also possible is that Anet meant the fighting style Vale Tudo, so this migh t also translate to Disgrace for Vale Tudo (althought i doubt that).Deadfalk 15:44, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
