Permanent toucher kill[edit]
You know what would be a good toucher killer? This skill has a duplicate, this everyone knows, however, ANet should fix duplicate skills, so that if you bring a skill that has a duplicate onto your bar, you can't bring its duplicate onto your bar. That would effectively destroy touchers, and wouldn't harm anything else. Just a suggestion, i'm sick of seeing so many touchers in AB. --72.148.167.222 19:22, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- I wouldn't mind seeing that implemented, but I prefer to keep things how they are. Calor (t) 19:26, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- The whole point of duplicates was to allow both copies on a single bar. --24.179.151.252 19:50, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- Nooo... It was for people who only owned a certain campaign to have access to a good skill. Calor (t) 19:51, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, I think it was for the reasons that 24.179 said. It made for interesting skill combinations or something. I doubt it was so people with only one campaign could use the same skill as one of advantages for owning a certain campaign was because of the skills included. -- Brains12 • Talk • 19:55, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- Oh. I had wondered the same thing a while back, and a few guildies told me it was for people who only owned one campaign had access to basic good skills. Calor (t) 19:56, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- That's what Core Skills are for ;) -- Brains12 • Talk • 19:58, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, alright. Well, SOMTHING needs to be done about all these f%$#ing touchers, AB really sucks badly because of them. --72.148.167.222 22:22, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Easy ways to shut down a toucher: E-denail, interupt with extendend recharge, diversion, kiting, and lots of others...I can't see why people get so frusterated by a build with so many weakpoints...Barkingllama 02:38, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
"Touchers" seems like a lame title. I mean...you don't WANT them touching you....why not call them "molesters?" 70.177.103.214 09:43, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
the only thing that really kills touchers is snares, other than that, they can easily kill melee based characters, due to them bringing throw dirt and blinding, its 65 dmg and healing per sec pretty much nonstop, i think people are frustrated because this usually effectively destroys half the players, due to people playing on assassins, dervishes, and warriors alot, and simply kiting doesnt generally work because a "good" toucher will bring a speed buff. its not unstoppable, but its rather annoying
- A blood necro is capable of going toe to toe with a toucher in terms of life stealing ith the right build, other then that the only warrior build capable of having a chance vs toucher is Hammmer using Dwarven Battle Stance warrior. Snare & ranged damage is the best counter still. I think A-net should make this & it's duplicate touch spells thereby killing the toucher in one blow.(77.70.60.74 09:09, 18 June 2008 (UTC))

- Just... go around them... They're annoying, yeah, but they're not deadly unless you stop to fight them, which is a waste of time. A monk can outheal a party of four of them (I've done it before with a standard WoH bar, it's not hard). And if you really, really just CAN'T take it, then spike them off, one at a time. With 3/4 of the party dealing damage, it shouldn't be hard to do more than 65 DPS. Raine - talk 12:53, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

- Guess what DPS an Elementalist has against non-mage professions. Noctarch 17:51, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
- Where are the ele's teammates? Why is the ele soloing, especially against a toucher? A mesmer, I could see. A good warrior, maybe. A necro could do it, maybe. But not an ele. You have a team for a reason; if you're off on your own, you deserve to be soloed by touchers, IMO. Raine - talk 00:43, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
Minion theft?[edit]
This skill on Scarabs (reeds Bog) seems to turn your touched minion hostile (bone minions). I was using Xandra and the Summon Bone Minion skill.
Anyone notice this on other foes? (Ixillius)

IMBO this should be changed to soul reaping and cost 5 energy, this should work with necromancers better than rangers. like necros arent weak enough now i'd like a change with more necromancer skills, like others im sick of rangers using these skills over and over when necros can't cast it twice without having a chunk of there energy missing.RandomWiki'er
