This skill is r0xx0rz b0xx0rz[edit]

No discussion? Ok I'll start: this skill is r0xx0rz b0xx0rz. Ninjas In The Sky 11:53, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

Maybe not that but definetly better than Power Attack. For sure, it deals not as much damage as that and has one seconde more of recharge but it's placed in an attribute line of a profession which can handle the energy cost far better and yields self-heal (with a condition nearly ridiculous) unmatched under attack skills. Noctarch 09:04, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
It's also is a uber cool skill to chain with Mystic Sweep. And a Deep Wounded foe with Wounding Strike is very vulnerable. Agains lvl 20 foes I almost always get the conditional HP gain. Ninjas In The Sky 16:36, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
It's not a rarity to be able to have 640+ Health as a dervish (I for myself, play only with 705 permanently) and THAT equals a level 31 monster ;) Noctarch 23:09, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
705? With Vital Boon? Ninjas In The Sky 08:25, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Full survivor's, two Runes of Vitae, a superior Rune of Vigor, a Scythe of Fortitude and Great Dwarf Armor. Noctarch 12:27, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

Before or After?[edit]

Does the health gain come after the attack? As it's fairly common using decent builds to hit for over 100 on a regular attack, so it can be useful to know if it is before or after the attack counts. Thanks in advance ^^ (If someone answers) Lt Death 16:42, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Just tested it, After. Kraken 20:35, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Less or More?[edit]

Doesn't seem strange that this skill heals you if you have more health than the target? It would make more sense to me if it gave health if the target had more health making it an effective survival skill. Greevar 15:12, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

It's called "Victorious Sweep" for a reason. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Aldarik (talk).

Overpowered[edit]

This completely throws Thrill of Victory out the window. This skill should read "Needs to be 10" energy, "who cares" recharge "(should be elite) Scythe Attack. Inflicts Eviscerate damage plus Orison of Healing plus no recharge plus non-elite status." --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:71.174.24.158 (talk).

What? 68.51.95.206 06:55, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
I'd rather they restore the conditional health gain that Thrill of Victory used to have. It's not as if Tactics has an abundance of good skills. Oh, and why would anyone use this if it was elite...you'd lose Wounding Strike/avatar of X. :\ Vili User talk:Vili 06:58, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
Thrill of Victory's damage is increased with warrior's Strength. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:121.54.92.54 (talk).
Not only, Mystic Sweep is also trashed out now. Who needs those pity +24, when you could do +25 and get some health for less recharge ?

Vsweep>Mystic Sweep[edit]

Why do I never see this skill in any bars when it is superior to Mystic Sweep in EVERY WAY?!? Or, is there something I don't know? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:74.107.152.69 (talk).

Mystic Sweep has 3/4 sec activation time (in PvE) or 1 sec (in PvP), which is significantly faster than a regular scythe attack. This makes it good for spiking in PvP. Victorious Sweep is something you'll see more often in PvE, especially for farming builds where it's a useful self-heal. -- Hong 04:53, 20 September 2009 (UTC)

Missed Trainer[edit]

It is also available from Tohn in Kamadan 204.10.131.97 10:16, 18 February 2011 (UTC)

Probably because you had unlocked it before, in which case, it's available everywhere. - Byakko User Page 05:03, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

Not really PVP?[edit]

I don't understand why this is so popular with pvp dervs. It has no synergy (other than with lame tanking skills), spamming it drains plenty of energy, and it's not likely to heal you when you really need it to. If there's going to be an otherwise unlinked attack on a derv bar, aura slicer for bleed and cracked armor spam(!), lyssa's assault for a shutdown interrupt, or just mystic sweep are all much better killing skills, and a free space can also be used for Xenchantment->Pious Fury, replacing Heart of Fury with on-demand IAS that starts with a bomb and doesn't disable your adrenaline skills just as you get going. 173.181.38.229 05:00, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
