I couldn't find the answer, but I wanted to mention that Vow of Piety is a similar case. My guess is it doesn't, because if it was it would be known by now.--Ruine Eternelle 20:24, 23 April 2020 (UTC)

Useful?

ER and Arcane Zeal are for spells only, and require a bunch of enchantments, while VoR affects all skills without requirement. So it has a niche.

I mostly agree with you however, that this skill is not exciting at all.

The main issue is that we usually do not want to waste our elite slot on energy management, when there are a bunch of regular skills that can usually do that. We want strong damage, healing, prot or utility for our elite skill.

Exception to that are incredibly powerful energy management like Ether Renewal that gives you easily 12+ energy every two second. Here we have 5/3 energy per second which is not bad, but not crazy.

Adding in there the fact that it is PvE only so reduces your build possibilities.

Adding in there at last strong competition from Zealous Vow, Arcane Zeal, or any other energy management elite skill that will be in the second attribute we will specialize in (and even in primary attributes such as Markman's wager) and that can provide more energy or bonus effect.

Omg forgot one small thing. Arcane Mimicry. This makes it potentially very good. Can use signet of illusions if not primary dervish (or symbols of inspiration if mesmer). Ruine Eternelle 19:19, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
