displays the current or upcoming Weekend event in abbreviated form if "short", and the official announcement name for any other text

same as above, but for the given date and time

{{weekend|date and time|short/official|type}}

same as above, but displays the event type at the beginning, as Special event or Weekend event for any text

Notes

• The template assumes a repeating 53 week schedule.
• This template should not be used to check past events, only to predict events in the near future. Checking past events or distant events may cause inaccuracies or errors.
