Cycle changes[edit]
The cycle appears to have been changed recently, so the current predictions are incorrect. I'll look into it when I'm not so tired and busy. If anyone else wants to investigate, the help would be appreciated. -- Kirbman 05:25, 18 May 2012 (UTC)
- It might be an entirely new order. They most likely chose to do the AB event this upcoming weekend (unless the login screen announcement is incorrect) to coincide with the recent AB rewards update (Feedback:Game updates/20120517). There are also two "unknown" weekend events that have occurred and are documented at Weekend events#2012. --Silver Edge 05:32, 18 May 2012 (UTC)
Updating and getting this working again[edit]
I reckon it would be worthwhile updating this template. The values for 7 through to 39 seem to tie in with the table on the right, and I bet if we asked nicely stephane could tell us the dates of the upcoming stuff.. -Chieftain Alex 19:53, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
- Now that the weekend event cycle is on a fixed schedule, this template will be easier to maintain, since Canthan New Year and (most likely) Sweet Treat Weekend will always be in the same spot in the rotation in the future. Concerning the two May 2013 yellow cells in your image, I think the reason there was an Alliance Battles Bonus Weekend in May and June last year was due to the Alliance Battles update on May 17. The template changes what event to display at 11:59 PM Pacific every Sunday (with the exception of events that occur over two or more weekends, i.e. Halloween and Wintersday), which is a problem for events that don't end at that time (e.g. Canthan New Year, Lucky Weekend, April Fools' Day weekend, Birthday Celebration, Dragon Festival will most likely be extended to a week long event similar to Canthan New Year, Talk Like a Pirate Event, Halloween, and Wintersday) since this template will be displaying the next event when the current event isn't over yet. --Silver Edge 21:18, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
- Ah, I meant the general sequence in terms of weeks was mostly ok. It should be possible to programme the start + end times of the events individually a bit like we do for the current weekend event page - (even if its a bit crude). Chieftain Alex 21:31, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
