Redesign[edit]

Seeing alot of recent comments, and I'm bound to agree, I think this template and {{anomaly}} are really too "obnoxious" and take focus from the article's primary content. I think we should try to redesign it to a more slim design, but I'm not sure what would work best. A simple text string (with the template just for category convenience) or should we make some kind of box still? - anja talk 20:51, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

I agree as well; it is the box that is the perpetrator there. Maybe just have the ladybird with the bug next to it like:
Eeeeek, a bug!! This is a bug.
Or you could have an uncoloured box:
Eeeeek, a bug!!
Bug!
This is a bug.
--Talk br12(talk) 20:55, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
First option looks better. The box on the second one may still be distracting. Maybe just changing the font from red to black.--Fighterdoken 20:56, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
I also thought of removing the image. It's nice, sure, but it makes the box take up space it doesn't really need to use. But your first suggestion brains, with a black font, does really look nicer. - anja talk 21:00, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
restyled along with {{anomaly}}. poke | talk 19:46, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

display issues[edit]

i'm not gonna revert but if the lines extend all the way across the screen, the template can cut into the infoboxes on widescreen monitors. --VVong|BA 23:10, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Do you have an example? (<- has a widescreen monitor) poke | talk 23:13, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
User:Wongba/Sandbox i put the example in my sandbox b/c i put a clear in the live article. --VVong|BA 23:30, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
I'm working on it in my sandbox now. I hope I can resize the box in some way automatically. If this is not possible we have to add a non-transparent background to the infoboxes (imo). poke | talk 23:34, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Hmm. I poorly only have two solutions: clear or a fixed size as you can see in my sandbox :( poke | talk 00:58, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Fixed. The problem was the relative positioning. — Galil Talk page 17:49, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Only tested it with FF2 and IE6 (haven't bothered with IE7 since I never use IE anyway) though, so if issues arise with other browsers, feel free to revert. — Galil Talk page 17:50, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Buggy bug template[edit]

This template is messing up Forbidden Fruit. Fix it. Now. Backsword 15:54, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Like that? Looks fine to me. - User HeWhoIsPale sig.PNG HeWhoIsPale 16:01, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Meh, you changed the page rather than fix the template. I was leaving it like that to illustrate. It will still mess up if left inline elesewhere. But oh well. Backsword 18:51, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
It's not meant to be used inline.. When would you need that? - anja talk 19:00, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Who knows? Some people do. Backsword 19:06, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
If you knowingly created the issue to request a feature change, state it that way. Or at least state what the issue that 'needs' 'fixing' is. - User HeWhoIsPale sig.PNG HeWhoIsPale 21:00, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Reported parameter[edit]

Should we add include a reported parameter so that reported bugs can be distinguished from unreported bugs? -- Gordon Ecker 22:25, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

iirc ANet looks through the bug category on their own, so you should ask them if they would change the parameter when they decide to do something about it. poke | talk 23:39, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
I think the purpose of the categorization would be to prevent regular wiki editors from wasting time posting duplicate bug reports. IMO the template should always categorize the article in Category:Bugs in addition to more specific subcategories, as the main bugs category is only relevant category for regular wiki readers. -- Gordon Ecker 05:25, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

Bug has a bug[edit]

Adverse affect on Dryad Bow. The bug image is valign=center compared to the concept art on my screen. The only work-around I see is changing the div's to a table with the bug floated left in the first row. 68.226.0.35 17:30, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Not so much this template, but infooxes pushing stuff down. Backsword 17:39, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Working on it[edit]

Trying to fix some bug. --Itay Alon 13:05, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

Don't sure, but fix it. --Itay Alon 13:18, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

Design[edit]

Can we have colons instead of period and in same color, purple not red? User Yoshida Keiji Signature.jpg Yoshida Keiji (talk) 05:09, 15 December 2012 (UTC)
