Merging guild and historical template

Not that is really needed, but maybe we could merge this template with the relevant information from {{guild}} so as to not fill the top of historical guild articles with more templates than needed?. I was thinking something along this could do it (changing icons and categories as to match the current versions).

Yes, that sounds sane. It's a bit of a mess right now, so anything that improves it is good. I presume there'd be a version for notable and histrocial ones? Backsword 22:33, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Yup. Just needs a minor tweak for changing the icon to the medal, but allows a distiction in text already for notables. Also allows to distinguish between guilds that are historical because of inactivity and those that we know were disbanded.--Fighterdoken 22:51, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

I'm not sure how well that is going to work, as we have already merged guild and notable, and any notable guild that now goes in active or is disbanded will need to also be tagged historical. You also need to change the icons to the ones being used now.-- Wyn 23:12, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Ok, fixed icons and autocat in the example template. Couldn't find a medal with the "clock" mark, so i guess the old one will have to do. Basically, the idea would be to replace both {{guild}} and {{historical guild}} on a historical guild article (such as Guild:Frozen Agony) for the new historical template proposed here.--Fighterdoken 04:45, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
