About me

Ax Chimera, is a combination of Ax and Chimera. The ones who know there Greek mythology, know that a Chimera is a mythical monster. In Greek mythology, the Chimera (Greek Χίμαιρα (Chímaira); Latin Chimaera) is a monstrous creature of Lycia in Asia Minor, which was made of the parts of multiple animals. Chimera was one of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna and sister of such monsters as Cerberus and the Lernaean Hydra.

Ax Chimera is also the name of my first character in game, since I started playing in April 2005. Since that day i created 6 more characters which are listed below.

In real life, i am a social worker at a big welfare organisation. I have played Guild Wars since the beginning, and still loving it every day.

Guild

I'm an officer at "Alle Oude Waarden Tellen" (AOW). This is a Dutch speaking PVE-minded guild of players with the age of 25 and above. We are using Ventrillo and trying to have fun everyday. Everyone above 25 and Dutch speaking is welcome. The only things we expect from you, is that you use Ventrillo to communicate and that you not always play solo, but sometimes join a guildparty so we can play together.

If you ask me, playing together is much more fun.

Ax Chimera Level: 20 Favorite quote: "Out of the frying pan, and into the fire" About My first character, for some time i didn't play anything else. It had everything i needed. Fire, magic, meteors and firestorms. It's a hell of a nuker and he helped me learn alot about the game.

Ax Chimeara Level: 20 Favorite quote: "Heavan can wait" About When i started to play Factions, i thought i need to play something different. Instead of nuking everything, i thought i could better start with bringing some good in the world.

Ax Chimaera Level: 20 Favorite quote: "You took the words right out of my mouth" About Everyone need to start a Warrior sometime. Why not now. Never thougt i could have such fun running and slashing with a swort.

Chimera of Hope Level: 20 Favorite quote: "For Crying out loud you know i need you alife" About When my girlfriend started a warrior, i thougt it could come in handy if she had a personal monk :)

Nocternal Pleasure Level: 20 Favorite quote: "That's no way to use a expensive war instrument" About Always wanted a White Tiger as Pet. Just LOVE Barrage/Splinter Weapon build.

Bat OO Hell Level: 20 Favorite quote: "Like a Bat Out Of Hell i'll be gone when the morning comes" About It's dark, it's creepy and it looks verry ugly. Always dreamt of having a personal army of hell.

Heaven C Wait Level: 20 Favorite quote: "Hellhounds on your tail" About It was the first character who had the ability to change form. After playing Warrior, i was adicted to standing up front. The combination of changing form, slashing with a scythe and the mysterious character forced me to play this one.
