- Red Iris Shield
The shield was inspired by all the rumours floating around that Gwen would be back in Eye of the North. Of course this was before it was officially announced. I ended up submitting the simple linework, because the coloured versions I did didn't look nearly as nice.
After working on my permanent pre-Searing character, I'd gotten to like having Gwen around to heal me. This is my tribute to her saving my warrior's butt while I was soloing.

- Lyssa entwined
This was intended to be a mesmer offhand or staff head. Mesmers are my favourite profession (mainly because they have such a great sense of style) and I wanted to do something that honoured the patron of mesmers. The figures are the twin goddess Lyssa.
Unfortunately because I spent so much time on the shield this entry was very rushed and is kind of embarassing to show people. Just ignore the terrible hair and outfit on the larger version. My intent was really just to make something interesting and elegantly shaped. The extra bits were added in about 5 minutes because I had to sprint down to the mail box so that it would be posted in time for the deadline!
