Notes:

  • Milly Dew is amongst the oldest characters in the game, with a name-claim back at E3 for Everyone and currently has more than 90 million experience. Most of my early character names were puns or had some internal joke (False Prophet was initially a necro/monk MM, for instance, which I thought was hilarious).
  • In early HA Milly ran Water and Earth ward heavy builds, because she had captured only Ward Against Harm (in the old "time your foe's casting" method), and although we weren't very good (the good team in that guild always had me monk since I had Word of Healing), this was later popularized by Koreans (and they were better at it than me, but hey, I was a trend setter ;).
  • Milly was my second character to beat Prophecies and Factions, my first for Nightfall and GW:EN.
  • Beat Prophecies the first time with 5 players after the three warriors captured Hundred Blades and quit. A ranger tanked, I warded and slowed, a mesmer was our primary damage dealer and two monks healed as necessary. We didn't have a single death.
  • Started Hero Fast Faction Farming sooner and ran a faster build than former ally Sadie Stikk, but was trounced in the race to Kurzick rank 12 by half, hitting R10 two days after Sadie hit R12. In fact, Sadie beat me by a good 4 months (I finished 19-Aug-2008).
  • Would have Eternals on Underworld, but I haven't done it all at once since the titles/chest were added. Guild has been planning a trip, though - we just need 3 solid hours (yes, I know it can be run fast, but this will be the first time for many guildies, so probably party-plowing through it - not to mention even though we SAID don't take the quests until told to, someone always seems to do grab Unwanted Guests and Escort of Souls... grr - happened 3x now).

Milly's Current Favorite Builds (look them up on PvXWiki):

  • Promise Nuker Variants (PvE)
  • For AB, a MB Distortion variant that can cap all shrines solo (add Searing Heat, use Searing->Meteor->Rodgorts will take caster and Ranger Shrines - for warrior draw aggro first). I've also played anti-player spike builds (depends on party composition).

Farming: Varies far too much based on what is farmed, I use Earth or 330. I plan to try some UW farm runs soon, unless it gets nerfed first. Glacial Stone is still popular with me for festival items now that my raptor build was nerfed. A*Net sure knows how to make titles that burn through the gold... chest runs have dropped me from 1200 platinum to 300 and it's been fluctuating from about 300 to 450 since then... after stopping farming for the title I jumped up 50 in 2 days.
