Ghosst of Shadows[edit]

"Canthan assassin" I'm sure Canthan is a bit redundant because all Assassins are Canthan.--83.82.62.210 16:19, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

It's all about uniformity; I have a "Tyrian" Warrior, and while I agree the outside of NPCs there are only "Canthan" Assassins, it would be odd to have simply "Weh No Su Assassin". Ghosst I Make Dead PeopleTalk

Paragons[edit]

So, what are some cool builds besides imbagon? Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ аІiсә User Aliceandsven 3.png ѕνәи Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ 22:25, 29 July 2011 (UTC)

Well both this user and I use similar tactics, relying on the Paragon's great armor and energy management from shouts to do more than just protect the party. Currently, I'm running this:
Paragon Paragon' / Unknown '
Leadership 11+1+1
Spear Mastery 10+1
Command 10+1

I don't have energy issues with this at all and even with foes who aren't fleshy, you can inflict Deep Wound and recover Adrenaline with Spear of Fury.

I'm also a fan of the "To the Limit!" and Soldier's Stance combination and I've been using it for a while aswell.

There's room in it for 3 other skills, whether tactics or paragon skills is up to you. "Never Surrender!" and "We Shall Return!" can be good in smaller groups if you have a high energy set. You could also remove the tactics line, switch to Monk and add something like Judge's Insight in places like DoA or facing undead.

These are just ideas, some I've used, some I've thought of, and Khomet has a bunch as well. I don't use my Paragon as a front-liner as I've already got a Dervish, a Warrior, and an Assassin and that field is getting a little stale for me. Of course, the Paragon can do just fine with that type of build thanks to their armor. Once you start to look through some builds, you'll see the skill combos that work well.

As far as PvP, if that's your cup of tea, the idea would remain the same, just some of the skills might be different. You could start out with an IMS and spear and when the other team expects you'll just be a silly shouter, you could switch to an axe or sword build and kill them off before they realized it was a paragon that sent them back to their shrine. Paragons are a flexible, but underused class. Ghosst I Make Dead PeopleTalk • 01:01, 30 July 2011 (UTC)
