- No...its a game editor he's talking about, not a person. Normally, games like NWN, Dragon Age, The Sims and so on come with an add on/accessability to source code that allows players to create custom content, maps and so on to share.--*Yasmin Parvaneh* 17:54, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

- "The first game of the StarCraft series was released for Microsoft Windows on 31 March 1998. With more than 11 million copies sold worldwide as of February 2009, it is one of the best-selling games for the personal computer. Many of the industry's journalists have praised StarCraft as one of the best and most important video games of all time, and for having raised the bar for developing real-time strategy games. StarCraft's multiplayer is particularly popular in South Korea, where professional players and teams participate in matches, earn sponsorships, and compete in televised tournaments. StarCraft's popularity resulted in Guinness World Records awarding the game four world records, including "Best Selling PC Strategy Game," "Largest Income in Professional Gaming," and "Largest Audience for a Game Competition" when 120,000 fans turned out to watch the final of the SKY proleague season 2005 in Busan, South Korea. In addition, StarCraft has been the subject of an academic course; UC Berkeley offered a student-run introductory course on theory and strategy in Spring 2009. After its release, StarCraft rapidly grew in popularity in South Korea, establishing a successful pro-gaming scene. Professional gamers in South Korea are media celebrities, and StarCraft games are broadcast over three television channels dedicated to the professional gaming scene. Professional gamers in South Korea have gained television contracts, sponsorships, and tournament prizes, allowing one of the most famous players, Lim Yo-Hwan, to gain a fan club of over half a million people. One player, Lee Yun-Yeol, reported earnings in 2005 of US$200,000. It has also been suggested by a francophone peer-reviewed study that Starcraft could be successfully used in math education. Starcraft was part of the US Air Force's Aerospace Basic Course, used to teach newly active officers about crisis planning under stress and joint service teamwork. Other efforts to make more 'realistic' current-day battle software led to distractions when simulated hardware didn't align with the real hardware active duty officers knew about. The science fiction setting allowed students to focus on the battle tactics." That should cover the big deal for you.--*Yasmin Parvaneh*
- Lmao, I was just figuring some stuff. So, my first match was TvZ. Tried to drop 2 Barracks near his base with Reactor add-ons (it failed sadly). So he came to my base and whiped me, but I decided to take both my CC's to 2 islands and kept mining there. While I had 1 SCV still on the mainland I build a barracks on a different location and added a Techlab. On my islands on build quick defenses and made some Ghost Academy's (you will prob know where this is going to lead to). So I made a Ghost, cloak and spammed Nuclear Launch Detected!. I should have lost this but he didn't bother to even make 1 single expansion (wtf?). He didn't even bother to make more drones after 1 nuked him once, neither did he bother to counter it or make more military units. So after my first match of terrible playing I still won thanks to my strong nuke spam! InfestedHydralisk 18:56, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- He deserved to get beat by nuke spam if he actually let you get a Ghost Academy in the first place. I rarely play Zerg, so I won't try and comment too much because I know so little about them, but why didn't he expand?--*Yasmin Parvaneh* 19:12, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- Idk, I was just watching replay and he tried to lingrush me. But there were those Rocks on both our sides so that failed. Hench why I tried to drop some barracks at his place. But really I don't know, his max drone count was 8 :S. He quickly tried to make Mutalisk's to kill me but he attacked my CC's rather then my SCV's with just 3 Muta's. So I thought, you're gonna get nuked m8. InfestedHydralisk 19:22, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- By the way, it requires a Barracks to build a Ghost Academy, but requires Factory to nuke. It's pretty fast to make Nukes in SC2. InfestedHydralisk 19:24, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- I meant he wasn't actively trying to watch your base to see what you were doing. So how is it with the new unit controls? I understand now you can select more of a unit type for your hot keys past the current count. I can't wait to mass retarded amounts of wraiths and goliaths (if they still gave goliaths or the equivalent of them) and not have to break them up into smaller groups wasting hot keys when I send them in.--*Yasmin Parvaneh* 20:21, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

- Since Aegis' block percent didn't scale (and I assume that's from before the PvP nerf, since Yas is pretty lolgw), that's not too terrible either, given some other things you could get. -- Armond Warblade{{Bacon}} 21:51, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
- (EC)I can't remember if those were from the same GvG or different matches that night...but I do remember when I stole Ressurect, one copy was taken purposely off the prot monk as an interupt with Simple Thievery, the second I pulled off their heal monk not even thinking both monks were that stupid and bad at the game. I think Shard and I almost died laughing and I screened it because the boys didn't believe me. Needless to say we rolled that match.--*Yasmin Parvaneh* 21:53, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, those screens were ages ago, we were still in Legend of Pi...I think EotN had just been out only a few months when we did that GvG.--*Yasmin Parvaneh* 21:55, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

Where did you get your name from? →[ »Halogod (talk)« ]← 23:45, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
- Well, I have a huge amount of imagination. So I started out with the word In and I was looking for something to add behind it so then I came with Infested. But then I felt like somewhat was missing so I kept on thinking. I got to the word Hydra but it didn't really feel super great so I wanted to add something behind it. And that's how I got to my name.
