About me[edit]
jayke is a nickname i've been called since my first days on the internet. Its origin is quiet stupid. My name is dutch, hard to pronounce and starts with a J, so I came up with jayke. I've been playing guildwars prophecies from the beginning, though I took a break from it after half a year, and started World of Warcraft. I came back to GW when nightfall was released so i missed out on factions. Of all types of games i've played over the past 10 years online fantasy games have enjoyed me the most.
In real life, i'm a student civil engineering at the KUL. I'm 20, Belgian, and have a great girlfriend! I enjoy playing Guild Wars in the evenings, having a nice chat with the people from AOW, while doing some missions/quests..
The Guild[edit]
AOW is a dutch PVE Guild full of great people. They support the use of ventrillo, which boosts the social aspect. We have many a laugh and are all very helpful to one another. This was my first GW character ever, and mainly designed because I love magic. At first I developed it to go PVP in Aeromancer spike teams. Then i abandonned it a bit, but now she's fully back in action!

My second character. I just love this one! I find playing a Monk to be versatile and still demanding. I'm quite a good healer, but my protection skills need some more work. I also tried the 55 farms and had some fun with that. I mainly use it to support the guild, and hate it to set out with nothing but npc's with this char.

I started this ranger to get a taste of the class, after a while i decided to keep it pre-searing, yet i haven't had the need of her ever since. She did convince me to start with Guthlac in the NF campaign.

I started playing the Nightfall campaign with my ranger the same time a friend started with his Dervish. After he quit, i still kept on playing this versatile, independent class. I've managed to master running, trapping, interupting, degen and barrage builds. I take my ranger to go skill capping, or just to explore the world.

I made a wammo because everyone has one, and I wanted to do a succesful droks run, since my ranger failed that. In general i don't really like the adrenaline classes and find a warrior to be a bit of a nuissance. It's got few feeling with the party, and does little damage.
