Well, what to tell about me...

Looks like I'm an 'oldie' if I compare the 'about me' info of other pages. I'm 36 years, live in the Netherlands, I'm male, my boss claims that I'm a Senior Architect in the IT, I own two cats (or they own me, still can't figure that out) and still have no life worth mentioning..

Back in the days of pong [1] - I told you I was old - I got addicted to videogames. Nowadays I own a XBOX (twice), XBOX 360, Playstation, WII, Gameboy and too many PC's. My pile of games will stack up to round about 500, but Guildwars was my first multiplayer-online-RPG-kinda-thingy. Just out of curiosity and attracted to the fantastic art they use in this game. Not wanting to play a cartoon like grinding monthly paid thing, I still have no regrets and still waste many of my free time on this marvelous game.

Most of the time I'll play PVE. Vanquishing Hard Mode dungeons, trying out new builds and H/H setups or just have a good time with guildies. (No, I refuse to do Ursan-way, IMHO its boring and only for brain damaged people) Sometimes I go PVP, doing AB or RA, and when I found enough brave guildies, I'll do TA.

Guild

I'm an officer at AOW. "Alle Oude Waarden" (dont ask) is a Dutch speaking PVE-minded guild of players above the age of 25. Its good to play in a guild with helpful people and don't act like children and still have a lot of fun. Playing the game or chatting over ventrillo.

On this char, I try to get as much as possible maxed titles. Playing Necro is so diverse, MM is neat, SS is always fun, but running weird blood or curses build in AB or RA is even funnier.

However, most team builds didn't need a ranger, like mesmers, totally underestimated. Its still is fun to play. Not much people expect a beastmaster in PvP, barrage is always handy and a ranger can be more of a nuisance to casters then a mesmer most of the times.

Too much monk hate. Although, in time, I learned to appreciate playing monk and become quite good at it. But still...takes a lot of nerves and concentration.. Created to help guildies everywhere in the game and to farm once in a while.

When everybody was trying out rits and assassins, it was easier to get PUGs playing a different proffesion. Although a bit mindless to play, I enjoyed playing warrior, although I like more strategic casting more. Can't play a warrior to long although I like playing warrior in the Deep, at least you have something to do all the time...

Of course, like almost anybody else, played fire. I find it sad that everyone expects an ele to be any kind of 'nuker'. What kind of boring gameplay is that ? Warrior tank, monks prot heal tank, eles nuke....man..there are more fun combo's to make than that! Playing earth is one of the 'hidden' advantages.

Less energy, no appreciation from other players in PVE and difficult skills to understand & time right. Still, its fun to find a good build to play with and can be an asset to any team. Mesmers in PvP can also be a lot of fun, mess with players minds, skills, energy and their heads :)

Merty Storagemule / Storagemule I I / Storemule I I I Level: 3 Favorite quote: "Oooh..I've got all shiny things to hold.." Titles: None :) About Man, I still need extra storage. At the moment, I do have three of them. All look alikes although in three different collors (blue, red and yellow). These warriors looks dumb, and stay dumb, I'm afraid.

This one however, just is stuck half-way. Got Factions and Nightfall finished, but thats enough. I admit I don't like playing assassin. The hit-hard-quick-run-fast kind of play is irritating. Created just for the needed assassin skills. Progresses bit by bit. Lucky there is a barrage build for assassins :)
