About Me[edit]

My name is johnny. I study econometry and statistics at University of Economics Prague.

I have been playing Guild Wars since beta release, cause I was really eager to know what creator of D2 made as his new project. Also I was currious about Anet and its role on MMOPRG world wide game state. In that time I of course played World of Warcraft, because I didnt like GW beta - it didnt fit my ideas of The Best Game ever for many reasons. I wasnt plannig to start to play Guild Wars.

Short after release, I have been bought the first GW game by my friend. I even didnt install the game still focusing on my lvl60 Frost Mage in WoW. One day I was sitting in front of my computer being bored of PvE in WoW. That was the first time I grab Guild Wars. From that time you can imagine, what was I focuing on:-) After 2 months, I sold my WoW account at ebay...

As all of us, I started in PvE. My primary was monk, since I know that in MMORPG games, monks are allways welcomed in groups. I was kinda n00b. But who wasn´t?

I dont like to play same things again over and over, so lately I transfered with my monk to PvP. I figured out finally how PvP characters are made and what´s their purpose. I was sooo charmed. I think it was like 2.5 years ago. Suddenly Factions came out and I joined Kurzicks and my monk with me. By that time I knew, that even if Guild Wars would need fees to play, I would pay it (so I think now). I played HA and sometimes GvG as well as Faction PvP content. After this time it was allways rush thrue PvE.

Then the best of all Nightfall arrived. As soon as it was available, I pre-ordered and I started Paragon, slowly abandoning my monk. With Nightfall I also started to play full class-wide. That was around 2 mil. Baltz factions and I think that was the time, I started to understand the depth of Guild Wars possibilities. It took me very long, I know. But since all guilds I came thrue were not really professinal, I had to figure everyting on my own and as I think, it´s the best way how to enjoy the game. Understanding the wide-game mechanism didnt come with playing game itself, it has come with thinking about it.

I am proud of several things, that you wouldnt probably beleive that I made it. Several builds, that catched very fast (or their modifications... which were I think much better then most of my scatches) such as... frenzied defense prot, covenant healbot spammer(kinda bug abusseing at that time xd), penetration ranger, conundrum spiker. I dont really think I made them "first", since very often one idea comes from many players at the same time, but I surely didnt see them any before not in RA,TA or HA or GvG that times. While some builds are "natural to invent" to me, others I didnt catch that fast, but thanks to observations and wiki, I was still able to master them pretty soon (or sooner then they were neffered in some way :DDD). I love testing and testing and makeing new builds.

I think my nature is pretty mature; I hate simple black-white vision. My main interests are: snowboard, music, films, MMO games, youtube, cultures, politics and economy, northern countries (I have been to Island, Scotland, and Sweeden)...

What is going on now?[edit]

My primary focus is to get King's Gladiator(r10) title before GW2 will be in stores, I spend most of the time in RA/TA. These days I am very bussy on graduating on University in Theory of Games (no it is not as cool as you think...:-))

I want to continue on that subject on PhD.

My biggest game achievement is my r7 glad title (soon r8), which is awesome and some builds I created according my my game style. In my personal life I worked for two independend film festivals (GLBT film festival at Prague and Human Right's film festival One World at Prague, which now spreads all over the world to rest of Europe and America, which is sooo cool!) as a assistent of production and guest service manager. I also worked for European AIDS help centrum as a volunteer, where I learned a lot about people in general. Now I focus on my school.

What I want do? I dream that will probably never come true is to be assistent of game developer (since I am really not skilled in leadership). I like to create matematical modeals, predictions and determististic simulations. For the job I need to work on my English a lot, for it is really not sufficient for the job. I also must work on my self-confidence. It would also require me learn c++ and sql.

What if it wont come true? I defenetly want not boring job, with fine people, challenging! I will try to start my carrier at a bank or as a governamet analyst (boring part), where I will geather some experiences (and money:-)). Then I will try to do maybe less profitable job, but more satisfying job, like in some game company (Anet for sure!:D) or on a film festival.

It is not so long, Blizzard offered job for a statistics. It was there 2 years, I remember I was hoping that it will be there till I finish my school:D but some jerk took it xd. :D Anyway it would be very good starting experience, in spite of Blizzard is not really my dream company.

My game: My hobby[edit]

Also I am developing my own MMORPG game, with toons of revolution stuff. I started that 6 years ago when I had an accident and I had to stay in a hospital for like 2 months, and I rework it very often for I want to be it excelent. Maybe one day, It will come alive!

What is my vission? I want to create most complex game ever, with virtual 3-D projections of light effects using special glasses. the style will be semi WoW, GW, NVN, Oblivion and Titan quest; and believe me, I came with Elite skill Idea first before GW came out!:-)

Simple characteristics:

  • Game is very intelectual demaning therefore will serve more to increase quality of gaming then to make profit.
  • Game features 16 playable races, 6 classes, 20 sub-classes,
  • Each race has designed about 25 unique abilities, each class about 10 and each sub-class about 150 unique skills.
  • There are also 20 professions with 200 unique abilities.
  • So each player will have about 500 unique skills to choose from (total 16*25+6*10+20*150+20*200=7460 unique skills)
  • Model is currently set to: pick up 50. You can have as much as you want elite skills, but they all share cool downs (each elite was designed to have different cooldown, but when you use elite skills, all elite skills will begin to recharge with same period the one you used)
  • I want to use 3-D glasses for lighting effects, to make better impression, while maintaining monitor as a "game place" for easy playability.
  • Game is set to open world. (have a painting on my notice board).
  • There will be many types of skills (There are Spells, Meditations, Illusions, Mantras, Rituals, Totems, Blessings, Curses, Prayers, Channelings ... about 40 different types)...
  • There are 4 different manas + rage + adrenalin + energy + stamina, each obtained in different way with a specific usage.
  • Game is designed for about 125 max level (character).
  • Skills' powers will progress in absolutely inovative way, which I wont reveal you know, cause Izzy would steal it from me :D (nahh really, the skills will be powered by XPs you invest during game play (10 levels of each skill) and will also be determined by God with which each skill will be connected. This princip I named Faith. More faith there is more powerful skill will be. You can gain faith by supporting God with quests, playin PvP. You will be able to get up to 50 Faith in this way. Another 50 are distributed among all God¨s in the game with princip, more people worship the god, more power (Faith) that God has:-) Difficult to explain, but I runned modeling on my computer (took like 20 hours) and it showed as an awesome idea.
  • The game uses specific mathematic patterns which I modeled by using programs in my school.
  • New concept of spell immunity and ressistence as well as armor, defense, "conditions", pasive abilities...
  • 26 different fight styles
  • any many more (concept is half way finished and have about 100 A4 pages. :-)

xd too complex I know:-) My ideas are still changing with more experience I get and more games I see.

PS. I am doing it for fun... cause I like it.

PPS. When (If) that idea will ever come true, by that time all my ideas will already be taken in place by others:-)
