User talk redirect[edit]
Please do not redirect your user talk page to the feedback namespace. This was done for ArenaNet staff as a way to correct the licensing issues regarding use of comments/suggestions made to them. Your user talk page is how the community contacts you and every new post will generate a "You have a new message" banner to alert you to the fact that someone is trying to contact you. Thanks! -- Wyn talk 11:11, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
Game suggestions[edit]
If you wish to submit game suggestions for the development teams' consideration, go to Feedback:Getting started, read the rules and instructions and go from there. If you still have questions, check out HELP:SUGGESTIONS. I hope that helps! -- Wyn talk 11:40, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
- Were you unable to figure it out? Is there anything I can do to help further? -- Wyn talk 12:50, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
Talk page etiquette[edit]
Sorry to be a pain Ravencroft, but you are not allowed to simply remove comments from your talk page according to the User page policy. Once the talk page has become large, or the comments are old (at least a week) you can Archive them if you wish, leaving a link to your archive here. Thanks! -- Wyn talk 12:50, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
- I'm really sorry. The whole thing is somewhat new to me. I've been putting my two cents in on various pages in the wiki directory (right phrase?), but I've never committed to creating my own page. But I did get the suggestion thing figured out. It helps when you take the time to read the scrolling window to see that you have to sign the user policy. XD I'm looking around at other user's pages and I'm seeing what they've done and I'm trying to figure out how they've done it all. Using code or being able to use code has been an interest of mine for a while and it's overwhelming to actually see how big some of the code is. Kind of puts into perspective as to how much work goes into fixing bugs and glitches in guild wars.--Ravencroft0 10:15, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
Tech Issues[edit]
Please don't create main space articles that redirect to your userspace. elix Omni 07:30, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- Regarding your archive confusion, I suggest just putting links to your archives at the top of your talk page- I did the tech one for you, above the table of contents. You could make a fancy archive table if you're so inclined. elix Omni 07:57, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- I just want to be able to move the sections out of my main user talk space. "Copy/Paste to a new page" doesn't get rid of the sections. I have not seen an option anywhere that will move a specified section to an archived space, nor directions on how to do this? Care to explain? There really needs to be a "Wiki Editing for Dummies"...--Ravencroft0 08:26, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
