Well of Souls
This is the large octagonal room in the catacombs with gargoyles in the center pouring water into the well. Baron Velspa refers to this as the "Well of Souls" and suggests that his father may have called it the "Eternal Well of Souls" back in his day. Currently the room is populated by the undead and one necromacer by the name of Oberan. Whom the Baron criticizes on a regular basis with statements like, "He stares at a brick wall all day..." or "What does the man eat down there? It is not like he orders take out..." or "I am just saying he is not the picture of mental health.".
Regardless of other possible names for this room Baron Velspa and his family have always talked about it as the "Well of Souls".
Other Rooms in the Catacombs
If you are ever in the catacombs with the Baron, you will at least know what chamber he is talking about. I am open for suggestions to any region that is not named in the game and you are welcome to leave a comment in my talk.

Shady Vale
Now in ruins, this area was a popular trade route between roads leading to Surmia, Ascalon, and Piken Square. The ruins of the Abbey and one burnt wall of the market place is all that remains. The simple homesteads and shops that used to be here are gone.
Velspa Manor
Once ancestral home to the Velspa Family, constructed in 908 AE, the structure stood for over 160 years. The manor stood upon the hill overlooking Lake Velspa to the west and the valley to the east. All that remains is a small section of wall. With Charr pushing in on the Northlands the people began to retreat behind the safety of the Great Northern Wall. Baron Velspa offered shelter to many Surmian refugees. However his efforts were short lived when the home was set fire during a Charr assault on the wall. For almost two years now Baron Velspa has been homeless and admits his title of Baron is little more than a formality now.
