whats up

Hello[edit]

How dare you BLANK a page because it does not comply with style and formatting? This is not how a wiki works. If you care so much, go and fix it, but never add a template like that. — Skuld 11:59, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

How dare I? I apologise if I've offended some sensibilities you have, but there's not reason to get agressive. The pages are violating policy, not just style & formatting (see GWW:GUILDS). I am adding these these due to the huge influx of guild pages we've been getting. If you want to know why, there's some reasons here. Tanaric himself made the {{bad guild page}} template, and started adding them to pages last night when the guild page spam got too much. Since then, I and a few other users have been trying to clear them up, and point the writers to the appropriate policy, as well as examples on how to go about creating a guild page that complies with policy. AT(talk | contribs) 12:05, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, just glanced on you adding it.. i'll take my complaint to the appropriate place. — Skuld 12:15, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
No problem. AT(talk | contribs) 12:16, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

Guild Image: Heroic Order Of Tyria cape.jpg[edit]

The image you recently uploaded (Image:Heroic Order Of Tyria cape.jpg) does not comply with the Guild Wars Wiki image naming policy and has been tagged for deletion. Please feel free to re-upload the image under a correct name. Thanks, -FireFox File:Firefoxav.png 05:20, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Cheers for the note, I'll reupload. AT(talk | contribs) 16:59, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Dude![edit]

Dude!

Hey pedro :) For the userpage stuff, take a look at this table guide. The character bit on my userpage is just some nested tables - one for the whole section, then each character has their own table. If you look at the code, you can start a table with {| [Table Goes here] |}. The formatting is just CSS. Also, sign any talk page comments with ~~~~ so I know it's you :p AT(talk | contribs) 20:38, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
Also, you may want to get into the habit of checking "This is a minor edit" when experimenting, or previewing before editing. It stops Recent Changes from getting flooded AT(talk | contribs) 20:42, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Heroic Order of Tyria[edit]

What are the requirements for membership? I don't play often, I don't PvP, and I don't farm faction (mostly because I don't have Factions, heh). I'm looking for a place with an active, interesting guild chat channel and that's about it. —Tanaric 10:46, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Pretty much 0, to be honest - most of us play PvE only, with occasional mucking about in RA. We're pretty small, and I'm probably one of the most active (due to being a lazy student), but everyone's nice and chatty. Throw me a message next time I'm online if you want :) AT(talk | contribs) 11:33, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Delete template[edit]

Hey, just fyi, the delete template has been updated as per the new policy. You use it this way now: {{delete|Covered by [[Assassin masks]]|~~~~~}}. The timestamp is to enable autocategorisation for pending deletions. -- ab.er.rant sig 03:39, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Cheers for the heads up, missed that change -- AT(talk | contribs) 04:24, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Modding Question[edit]

Hey there AT, I have a question or two on modding and have yet to find an answer anywhere and others on guildwarsguru.com are also looking for said answer. I'm not sure if this belongs in your talk section and I can't seem to find how to send a private message to someone on the wiki here.

You helped on the hit point bar mod for 50% & 80%. Would you be so kind as to post what texture you modified and an image of how you modified it?

I'd find it in the tpf if I could unpack a tpf but TexMod has no such option and you can't run the game with a package loaded and logging on, well if you can I have not figured out how :) --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:69.3.116.10 .

Hey Imaginos. Sadly, the health bar was all Ailia's work, I'm merely a UI guy. -- AT(talk | contribs) 17:17, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
Hey there! Thanks for the answer. I've sent her a PM on guru but no answer as of yet. Does she have a talk page set up here yet as I can't find one?--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:69.3.116.10 .
Here is her/his talkpage ~ KurdKurdsig.png 19:12, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
Thanks Kurd. I should really sign up myself :) ~Imaginos

Problem with your mod[edit]

Your 50% marker on the health bar is a little to the left than the true level is. For a while i minimized my exp bar and placed it at where the health bar drops to after one infuse. After dling and running your mod i ZB'd while my health was below my marker and above yours and i got the +7 energy. Not a major bug i know bu tjust letting you know. :)

Cheers for the tweaking advice, I'll pass it on to Ailia - she worked on the 50%/80% markers, not me. -- AT(talk | contribs) 01:56, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
