If you're implying that I hide behind my education, then you're dead wrong. I got my education solely so I could have the tools that I'd need to do the kind of work I'm passionate about. It just so happens that the work I am passionate about is varied and sprawled out, but no less amazing and fulfilling in my life.

I apologize if having more than a G.E.D. is somehow offensive to you, but in the U.S. education can actually be freeing. At least, it has been in my experience. Karate Jesus 21:44, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

I have more than a G.E.D. (High School Diploma, Tech School, College) and am proud to have gone to college, but I don't announce it to the world. Just to places that I'd apply for. After all, some had to remove their's, because of so many dissing them on so much education. *shrugs* I've traveled the country, worked in a few different fields, but what I'm trying to get at is there's a lot I don't use as a leverage or something to hide behind or in about me. More so, I show who I am online, how I do on line those that get close to me, can learn to know what I do and who I am in real life, even the past. The reason is so that you don't have people easily pissing you off on your greatness or trying to find something to find fault with. You don't give what you don't want used against you. *smiles* Let people assume things they don't know. If someone wants to be a real friend, let them ask and to get to know the real you. Actually, the quote is kind of towards those that attack my English, my education, etc., because I want to show that I don't hide behind my education and I don't use it to define me. I learn every day and more so on my own, than any school would teach. I have learned a lot from my college, than I had from any real high school or tech school. I plan to continue to learn, but I don't like people putting education out there, to try to hide or use as an excuse. -- riyen ♥ 22:17, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
