Berserker Stance[edit]
Try using Flail instead so you get an IAS all the way through your chain, particularly with Enraging Charge for instant adrenaline. Also, instead of Rebirth, give Death Pact Signet a shot. - FestoonedTwinklepixie 20:11, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
na i prefer berserker as i can use charge to get enough for counter blow and then use the stance to aply alot of damage while chargeing the adrenaline needed for earthshaker->pulverizing smash->mighty blow while he/she is still knocked down and so i can spike either directly after they get up or when they decide to start running. but flail is ok but it doesnt suit me as the only problem with it is the movement penalty which can dammage all melee chars and i dont like the idea of having a speed buff just to cancel out flail cuz i prefer to use them to get to the casters quickly before they have a chance to bodyblock and to have them focus more on me then my casters. i also used to use death pact sig as it is a realy good rez when ur in the middle of a fight but i often got angry at it as even though it could save you from a party wipe it more often then not caused them as when i rezed someone they would quickly get mobed and cause me to die and i like rebirth as it can get you out of tricky situations as you can rez even if they are in the mobs agro range.--Azreal of Skyrim 20:53, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Image naming[edit]
Hi. I noticed you have uploaded a couple of images (Image:User Muse Of Day Dreams Example.jpg and Image:User Immortal Scribe Example.jpg). These images are not named correctly for use in userspace and have been marked for deletion. The image policy says user images should be named Image:User Username Description.extension
. For example I have reuploaded your image to Image:User Azreal of skyrim Muse Of Day Dreams.jpg.
I will sort the images you have already uploaded for you. If you could make sure in future you name the images correctly. If you have any questions or would like to discuss, please feel free to ask me on my talk page, or ask any of the helpers, check out the Help center, or post a question on the Help:Ask a wiki question page. Thanks!- TheRave (talk) 19:08, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Regalia Screenshots[edit]
About the Regalia screenshots, if you're bored and want to put better ones up, turn on all graphical settings and use -bmp for lossless screenshots. Then work completely out of Llye or dye preview windows with the largest interface when you take the pictures. Use Photoshop save for web after or JStrip to strip your jpegs after. I use from 80-100 quality but super pixel peep so I usually like to go 95 or higher. That's how I do all of mine. Previously Unsigned 18:28, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, you should tweak your character's height to fill more of the frame and match previous models appearance (or make less distracting ones) while you're at it. Previously Unsigned 18:36, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- thx for the info, after i posted those i tried getting bmp screens and converting them into png files but wiki wouldn't accept them but i will try to do some more tomorrow and i will see if any of the other costumes need better pics and btw what did you mean with the second comment about the appearance? do you mean having a character with a plain face and hair?--Azreal of Skyrim 18:45, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- I've tried PNG too. It will only work if the previous is a png I believe. Anyways do you have photoshop? I love the save for web function with it... you can make JPEGs in there but don't covert to sRGB or include the color profile (those may be turned on by default, but since the bmps have no color profile, I continue the chain with no color management). And I would say, yes, a lot of things could be higher quality here. I'm gonna cover all I can cover, mostly all of PvP armor for every profession first then the starter ones since those are quick. It really kills me that I have no drive for making gold or farming though, otherwise I'd have more that I could add, like elite armors! About the model part, I try to match the previous model uploaded when working in Llye's window. Usually they have minimal dark hair, that's what I've seen. Put on the armor and then go view it in Llye with the larger interface, then change maybe to what I've been using so far for Mesmer? http://img245.imageshack.us/img245/4466/81154437.jpg Previously Unsigned 18:59, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- Na ive only got paint.net but that usually does the job, well ive got most of the elite armours for warrior that i could get pics of if need be--Azreal of Skyrim 20:26, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- Awesome! Without me having to install Paint.NET is there a save for web style feature? I really like it so I can quickly compare original versus compressed versions at 400% for artifacts. This is what it looks like: http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/1240/0024.png I just think it's really important to look at quality. While 80 looks fine at 100, zoom in just a bit and you can really see them. I can even see the artifacts in 90% with my crappy CRT (I need a new one but can't find many and don't have the money for a $1000+ LCD), so I try to stay from 93-100 quality unless the file is HUGE. I've been doing my images in 1152x864 resolution because even higher there is no improvement in detail, but larger filesizes (geee, reminds me of the megapixel race - CES just unleashed 45 new compacts, all with horrible 1/2.33-2.5" sensors and 12-14mp). Or you could just me let use your account LOL (I know you wouldn't do it but honestly, if I was a hacker or got into someboody else's account, I probably would take all the extra armor pics I could before trying to find it's original owner. I wouldn't fuck around with anything else since doing that kind of stuff comes back to bite you in the butt later.) Previously Unsigned 20:36, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- na i don't think it does, it has very basic features in it, but i always look at the preview and increase the quality till i stop seeing an improvement but thats usually just short of 100% anyway lol. i just wish it was possible to see the high quality textures on other peoples armour, it would make things so much easier.--Azreal of Skyrim 21:18, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- Uh, mind sending me the pics then if you do any? The original BMPs? I'll give you credit when I upload them or ask you to change something if possible. BMPs compress really well in archives. ... Oh wait, I see what you mean now, I just do that the opposite way. I decrease quality till I see deterioration. Previously Unsigned 21:55, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah i might as well just e-mail you the screens since you could do more with them. i will get them and zip em off tomorrow morning --Azreal of Skyrim 22:19, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- Awesome! Actually you don't need to email me anything, maybe upload them some place like rapidshare or etc. They auto delete after like 10 downloads or such. I don't really have a guide wrote up about how I do them, but I just use Llye whenever possible with the "Larger" interface setting. Really big preview that way. I use 1152x864, tried larger but sometimes the crops come out the same size (weird!). Make sure you have 4x AA on with everything else maxed out for graphics. Oh yeah, Lyle helps for all gray armors. Dye it all grey, then preview. You can create a better model that way while you're there, the window is larger than dye preview, and it updates when you remove pieces (unlike dye preview) and when you're done you can extreme makeover for the female side with the female's armor in the window then. I usually redo the previous model or try to make a look from just that profession (no mixing - but that isn't really necessary, if one has too much hair in it or such. Previously Unsigned 22:29, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- Hmm seems that Salome is gonna try to make better images as well so I'll call it off for now. Previously Unsigned 13:09, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- oh ok then well im here if you need me again. --Azreal of Skyrim 14:04, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- Hello again, might as well try to replace them if you are ever on. Salome and others are having graphic problems. I can explain the process (not long) or if you trust me, can I just like do it myself? Teamviewer worked with a remote Guild Wars copy open. SCORE. So much faster.
