Aura Slicer Aura Slicer[edit]

I wouldn't bring your version at all. A good part of the time, it's doing no bonus damage, or a meager +10...22...25 on a 10 second recharge. So why would I bring it over another skill that has damage and some other side effect? Any enchanted target is going to take a pile of damage, sure, but a lot of enchantments are prot, which will mitigate the usefulness of the skill. It is always better to run attack skills which have effects you control. I'd suggest, then, that it be based off the user:
5/0/5, If Aura Slicer hits, you deal +2...13...16 damage. If you are under the effects of an Enchantment, you deal an additional +5...17...20 damage. Hence 15+19 = +34 damage at 14 spec, which is second only to Radiant Scythe or Reaper's Sweep. ~Seef II <|۞> 09:36, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
I suppose. I'm not much of a Dervish person - but I probably wouldn't bring any three of the copies (The current, yours or mine) because...I wouldn't have a scythe to begin with. But I still wanted to keep it like Rending Aura that based itself off the target's effects. You're right when you say it's unreliable that way and a lot of the triggers mitigate the usefulness but basing it off of your own enchantments makes it either better than or worse than Mystic Sweep and one of the two would suffer (probably Mystic).
