The builds don't suck : D[edit]
I like the builds you used for your monks, and the Mesmer build is very, very good - that's a very crafty way of making a signet-based build that actually works. A suggestion is to add Leech Signet to the monk's skill bar - I think the added interrupts really help down there. But your group build is very good (the assassin one needs more work, like you said), much better than the one I used there myself : ) Erasculio 14:06, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks! I put in that note because I was a little self-conscious about posting builds given the tendency of some people to mercilessly rip them apart. The mesmer came about because it seemed that no matter how many condition removal skills I took, conditions were still a problem. Cautery Signet was more attractive than Martyr + Purge Conditions because heroes don't always use that combo correctly, and the signet gets rid of disease with no chance of reinfection. But the 2-second cast and 15-second recharge was too high, which is how it ended up on a mesmer.
- I think human teams could do better than the 2 smiting monks by using an Elementalist with Deep Freeze and two (or more) Mesmer/Monks or Monk/Mesmers carrying Arcane Echo and Ray of Judgment. Sure, it would cost 45 energy each and disable everything but Smiting Prayers, but it would also inflict 360 armor-ignoring AoE damage in about 2 seconds (under 2 seconds with Fast Casting) each. With two or more players doing that, you don't need any more energy, because everything is already dead. -- bcstingg (talk • contribs) 18:01, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the helpful input on Glint's Challenge, gonna head down and give it a shot myself. You should really post more on the wiki, we need more helpful intelligent people like you. I have managed, on a sidenote to do Glints NM successfully and consistently with a full team of people experienced with it, but honestly it took me 3 1/2 hours to find one which was part of my gripe to begin with. Considering your new insight I'll give it another go. Thanks! Nay the One and Only 18:22, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
Skill bar template[edit]
Hi, this is just a heads up that "Template:Scalable skill bar" is up for deletion. All the various skill bar templates have been replaced with {{Skill bar}} and {{Skill bar preset}}. Thanks. -- ab.er.rant 09:36, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
You'll probably never read this[edit]
But I fixed your character template which was broken when someone was trying to fix your images. --Freedom Bound 19:49, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
