User talk:Blame the Monks
Welcome to GWW. But I must tell to please take a look at GWW:USER when designing your userpage. :) - Thanks, Drago 16:08, 26 April 2007 (EDT)
Hi there! — Skuld 17:15, 26 April 2007 (EDT)
Hi. Don't mind me. I am just figuring this whole thing out. Hopefully I will set it up real nice soon. (And don't worry, I won't steal anyone's work, I just put it here as an example so I can learn from it). --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Blame the Monks .
- After a quick bit of fiddling (after seeing your forum post =P), I've been messing around at User:MisterPepe/Sandbox. It would be nice if you could give me a little better idea of what you were looking for, because I pretty much just messed around with tables and filled the code with comments to teach you how to change it to suit your needs. It's kind of a crash course in wikicode =P
- Oh, and there's also a basic bit of wikicode help available at GWW:WELCOME and Help:Editing. It's also pretty easy to sign your name - just add four tildes
~~~~
. Anyway, pop on over to my talk page if there's anything I can help you with, or if you can give me a little better idea of what you're looking for in that userpage thingy. MisterPepe talk 02:54, 27 April 2007 (EDT)
ooh[edit]
your characters are impressive. i've been playing longer than you have and not even my primary character has reached kind of a big deal yet. ;) I better keep moving. haha. I tried for the last lvl of survivor, but my character got careless and got caught in some agro. ouchies. ;)--Zemmy 11:16, 5 May 2007 (EDT)
- Thanks. I am very much a title whore. I'm currently working on IvI on my warrior and considering deleting my other two (too much time and money to keep them current). Thanks for the post tho! Blame the Monks 14:07, 5 May 2007 (EDT)
I am your fan[edit]
Hello. I would like to thank you because you have not specifically emphasized the barrage/pet build in your PvE subpage, demonstrating that high level players prefer skills to "I throw arrows at random dumb AI controlled targets so there is no need for targeting and tactic". I love you. Serge Yseron 18:18, 5 May 2007 (EDT)
- Thanks. Please don't murder my family. O_O Blame the Monks 21:38, 5 May 2007 (EDT)
Random epeen stroking[edit]
Blame is full of win. With that being said, why do you prefer the attribute distribution that you do for BA Rangers?
- I prefer 10+2 exp, 11+3 marks, and 9+1 wild on BA. I run that because those attributes hit breaks for my key skills -- 14 marks gives 5 sec burning, 10 wild gives a break for natural and troll, and 12 expertise is a break for 10 nrg skills. There is some risk in running dual majors, of course, but with natural, mending, and troll rangers just don't die that often. Split toons die to poor awareness a lot more often than they die because of dual majors. But many disagree. This is my fav, but I know very skilled players who run 14 exp or no majors at all. To each his own, I suppose.
- Thanks for stopping by and I hope that helps! Blame the Monks 21:44, 5 May 2007 (EDT)
- Finally got around to registering. -.-
- Thanks for the input, Blame. Do you find that energy's tighter since you aren't hitting the 2e break on 5e skills?
- Also, is there any validity to the rumors that MH is on the verge of disbanding from inactivity? --Lemming 04:31, 10 May 2007 (EDT)
- Well, the real energy spam comes from burning and savage, imo, and 12 hits that break. But hey its personal preference and I don't pretend my way is the only way. I constantly burn out my energy regardless, but I believe the extra burning is better than a tiny bit more energy on apply and dshot.
- As for MH, I understand there was some rage on IRC about quitting but I think that is premature. Basically, we had some rage because a member decided to play wow rather than come gvg, but it has mostly blown over. TBH tho, the competitive scene is so stupid atm its hard to find bodies and interest to play. But MH probably won't disband regardless, even if our activity slows. IMO. - With Narc and Morgant gone, I'm assuming that this is pretty much it? --Lemming 01:46, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yes. Someone was supposed to put up a thread announcing we are moving to other games and have a "best memories" deal, but I think it feel into the wayside. But in any event, MH is done and I am LFG. Blame the Monks 14:25, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
does this map's design still cause problems? if not we should change the description. figured ur input would be better than some random editor's opinion. --VVong|BA 18:19, 18 May 2007 (EDT)
- TBH, I haven't yet gotten familiar enough with new jade to comment, so I will punt on this for now. I will get back to it soon. BTW, your wiki page is awesome. :) Blame the Monks 19:19, 18 May 2007 (EDT)
