First[edit]

I'm not sure how long you have been around here, but welcome to the wiki. I'm not offical wiki crew, but if you have any questions, Y0 ish halt, Eloc, Wyn, and many more would be glad to help you with any questions or problems you might have. They have been very kind to me so far after-all. =D --Wolf User Great Darkwolf User Image paw.png 01:21, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks Darkwolf. I've been on wiki for quite a while, but only recently stopped lurking. I had alpha-tested the game, and miss Gaile tremendously. There is a woman who bled for the community! I hope that she has 1) more time now and 2) more money! I wish Regina all the best. It's a truism that it takes 3 months in a new job before you have a clue of how to do it, and at least a year before you are comfortable. She's been on the job since April, a mere 4 months.
I'll likely wish to dress up my user page with the boxes. I know I'm more of a PvX player. I'm slowly collecting PvP titles on one account, and PvE titles on another. ceolstan 12:12, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
I'm sure Gaile has a good deal more time now than she did a few months ago, just drop by her talk page for anything and she will get back to you in due time. =D Where you around for some of the huge deals people raised in the first month Regina was here? --Wolf User Great Darkwolf User Image paw.png 16:14, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
Not really. It is going to take a lot of time for Regina to settle into her job. Gaile grew into hers. She was with the company from the time that GW was a gleam in a programmer's eye. That gave her a unique perspective as a Community Manager. I hope that she has more time with her family now! I suspect, though, that Regina's been brought aboard now not because of the need of GW1 for a CM, but to put a new face on GW2.129.79.232.230 14:56, 13 August 2008 (UTC) Ooops! that was me, but not signed in, lol! ceolstan 17:43, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
Good point, I never thought about it like that. --Wolf User Great Darkwolf User Image paw.png 20:28, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

HiHi![edit]

Thank you for your responce to my blog :). Your right with your advice but...i haven't figured out what my favourite proff is in the 21 months i've been playing now :) just am for sure not a monk. That's a lot of the others to choose from...sigh. Will come in due time. And i miss Gaile too. I don't think she got more time on her hands but i do know she is still here and in-game during festivals. You know she will answer any question you have :) for that be her.. --Silverleaf User_talk:Silverleaf 17:34, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

Time played[edit]

In game type /age and it will tell you how many total hours you have played on your account, and on the character your on, plus how old your account and that character are in months. — Wolf User Great Darkwolf User Image paw.png 22:51, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

Oh, that I know. I'd like a wiki box with it. Wasn't it on the 3 Years of Guild Wars video that the devs said that they were surprised that people had put in so many hours? 98.223.203.12 23:42, 19 November 2008 (UTC) Oops! Me again, but not signed in! ceolstan 00:16, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Updates[edit]

I've logged in over 3200 hours in this game. That's fairly amazing, I think. I've played some other games on the side, of course. My current non-GW game is FarCry 2. I missed the Steam Holiday Sale, which would have added Fallout 3 to my Steam game list.

Wintersday 2008[edit]

Unlike past years, I was out of town for the Wintersday festivities this year, which means no hat for me. I farmed like a crazy woman from about 6pm PST on Saturday before the close of Wintersday at noon Monday, PST. Happily, I managed several shards and increased my stock of alcoholic beverages. I also added about 50 minutes to my drunkard title (only 440 minutes more to go before Rank 1). The best news was that one person from the guild, Firedove, had a polar bear minipet drop for her. The odds rolled in her favor. I'm so happy for her!

However, missing Wintersday had its compensations. I got to spend the time with my family, including my four-year-old niece, who was absolutely gob-smacked by the entire affair. For my part, though, I'm not sure what happened to about 8 pints of apple butter I made for gifts. I did find the grape jelly, the black raspberry jam, the raspberry jam, and I'm currently on the pineapple (yes, it's late!)--but I could have sworn that I took the apple butter with me! Oh well, I suppose I'll have to alert my extended family to make sure it gets to where it should go. It's probably on a table somewhere in the wrapping room! ceolstan 02:25, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

I Found Yoooouuu[edit]

  • Not a stalker* :o I see you've had more time than I've had to design a user page. :) YuGiOh 07:31, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
Scary. I hardly ever get stalkers. Maybe they're afraid of me. :) -- WarBlade 07:58, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
One of these days, I'll make a spiffier user page.ceolstan
