eek! I thought i had understood this copyright business but i guess i dont. I thought if it was an article written about facts obtainable in game you could just put it here. It is complicated, and I don't pretend to understand it 100% myself. Facts are not copyrightable, but the format in which they are displayed, is copyrightable. Someone is working on a formatting page for uniques that you should look at. Present the facts in that format and everything is cool. --Rainith 02:37, 18 March 2007 (EDT)

Welcome, great job, but...

Hey, slight copyright issue with that victo's b-axe article =P While I'm always happy to see new people helping out, and seeing new articles, GuildWiki uses a different copyright license than we do, so copying articles over from there is actually illegal =P I can give you more specifics if you'd like, but the general gist is copy=bad. our license allows for commercial use (so ArenaNet can host it), which is incompatible with the AT-NC-SA CC license. Even the formatting of the articles is copyrighted. Thanks for helping out, though =) I just wanted to tell you why I'm about to put a rather large "Please delete this article due to copyright violations" tag on the article you just finished =P Pepe talk 02:27, 18 March 2007 (EDT)
