User image

Me again. If your gonna use images for your user page they need to be uploaded with the name User <username> <image>. For example if i was to upload a image it would be named User Elviondale Sailanu Anwarnya.jpg. Pay attention that is doesnt exceed 100kb.Your current one is going to get deleted. If there is anything else you want to know just leave a note on my talk page. ~ KurdKurdsig.png19:40, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

Dont use the wiki for advertising, this is not the place for it ~ KurdKurdsig.png 21:04, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

Silver

hey thanks. I am aiming for a second word for my screen name. but thanks for checking it out and responding. lol-- --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:72.42.67.12 .

Delete

Hey, just a FYI. When using the {{delete}} tag, use it like this: {{delete|<Reason>|~~~~~}}. This timestamp there is meant for a little autocategorisation so they don't get deleted too early. For deletion of your own user pages and certain other violations (see GWW:DELETE), you can do it like this {{delete|<Reason>|speedy}}, meaning you're requesting it to be deleted asap. :) -- ab.er.rant sig 06:53, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

Arya?

I could. But is there an icon for the 'X' that big? Silverider 03:23, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

removed comments

When you add the unsigned template be careful not to remove comments. -Smurf 17:10, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

My bad, didn't mean to. Could you link me to which one? -elviondale (tahlk) 22:18, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
I already fixed it, but here were your edits:
It looks like you edited an old revision which would remove all newer edits. -Smurf 05:38, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

So if u ever have anymore advice 4 me or that u just wanna tlk u can email me @ lilangel_1990@hotmail.com thanks again. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Lildevil .

Tahlk?

Is that a purposeful misspelling in your sig or just a typo? :) -- ab.er.rant sig 05:09, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

I was just wondering the same thing, having seen your sig on help:game (15 days later than aberrant, but oh well :D). Calor - talk 02:42, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
Well... 2 months and 16 days. -elviondale (tahlk) 04:03, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
Lol...I had naturally assumed October. Sad, sad me.... Anyways, is it intentionally "tahlk", or just a bizarre typo? Calor - talk 18:40, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
It's intentional. Just like if I wanted to say 'zero' but was Canadian, I'd say 'Zhed' -elviondale (tahlk) 19:51, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
Neat. Nice sig overall, btw. Calor - talk 21:49, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

User images naming

Just a heads up, pictures with names such as Image:UserDivineSilens.gif or Image:UserDivineKarav.gif are not violations of GWW:USER. The policy only requires the word User and the username to prefix the filename, and makes no distinction between Image:UserDirigibleImage.jpg, Image:User-Dirigible-Image.jpg or Image:User Dirigible Image.jpg. Cheers. --Dirigible 07:18, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Correct actually, such is the wording. But I tend to add in the spaces for them when I come across them (and when I'm in the mood for it). -- ab.er.rant sig 09:02, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Roger Roger. It was my understanding that the spaces were a bit expected. Thanks for the clarification -elviondale (tahlk) 15:15, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Missing a Minipet

Just noticed your list of Special Minis...you're missing the Gray Giant from the PC Gamer Promotion.--Thor79User-thor79.pngTalk 00:17, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

HoM discussion...

Hi and thanks for the invitation to your HoM page. I think a forum is a forum and a wiki is a wiki. What that means is I like Guru better as an environment of discussion and debate and I like wikis more foor documentation and facts. So, I'd rather have the discussion in a more visible forum than a user page and without cluttering the recent changes here with debate. God knows the policy pages produce enough of that. --Karlos 00:53, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

Haha.. totally understandable. -elviondale (tahlk) 00:54, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

Patently forbidden

"pat·ent·ly adv. In a patent manner; openly, plainly, or clearly: a patently false statement. "Material patently offensive to others" is absolutely forbidden.""

I just read the profanity policy proposal and this struck my mind. According to the FCC page you yourself quoted (I take it by "forbidden" you mean "forbidden as a broadcast in the United States of America" and not "forbidden on this wiki") , patently offensive material is not absolutely forbidden. It has to fillful 3 criteria, of which "Material patently offensive to others" is only 1/2. Your link names all three criteria. --Xeeron 23:33, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Forget that, after rereading, I think you meant forbidden on this wiki and not the FCC page you quoted earlier. --Xeeron 23:40, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Haha, no worries. Sometimes I lose my own context because I write it all and then edit little bits and pieces. -elviondale (tahlk) 00:12, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

"Heads Up"

Thanks for the heads up. I figured it might stir something up, and I was right. I've made my comments on the situation, I'll let them figure out what they want to do.--Thor79User-thor79.pngTalk 04:39, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

"Signature"

Thanks for the heads up as well. I'm still trying to get acustomed to the wiki thing. I know HTML and ran my own websites, but a wiki is a whole new ball game for me. Don't worry, you're not a jerk :D Dervish-tango-icon-20.pngDevi talk 18:36, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

Unsigned comments

"Sincerely, Robber of War" look a lot like a signature to me. I thought it was nicer to edit the sig to link to his profile, rather than place a picky tag to say he didn't sign it, when he did. Biscuits User Biscuits sig.png 16:10, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

Hey.. just following rules. Feel free to revert. -elviondale (tahlk) 16:15, 8 November 2007 (UTC
No problem - won't revert, that'll just clutter the history, especially with Guild Wars Wiki:One-revert rule coming up. The rules are that you add the tag in order to link to the username or IP of the unsigned poster. He had signed his post with his username, so I thought it wasn't needed, especially after I added the link to his profile for him. Oh, and better to reply where the comment was made, instead of starting a talk page hunt. ;) Biscuits User Biscuits sig.png 17:19, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
